BTS Jungkook’s Generous Gesture: Spending 700M KRW on Fan Gift Packages During Seven and GOLDEN Promotions

The recent episode of tVN’s Free Doctor unveiled that BTS member Jungkook bestowed approximately 700 million Korean won (around $510,000) worth of gifts to his fans. As reported on October 18, 2024, these gifts were given to nearly 5,000 attendees of his music show recordings at Inkigayo, Music Bank, and M Countdown during his solo career phase last year.

The presented gifts ranged from perfumes and custom merchandise to cookies, cakes, and flowers. His fans were left in awe by this act of kindness, sharing their feelings of appreciation for the thoughtful gesture exhibited by the BTS star.

An X user highlighted Jungkook’s many philanthropic acts, which include donations to children’s hospitals, preparing fan gifts, and performing free concerts, stating:

“He is one of a kind.”

During his appearance at Music Bank 2023, while performing his single 3D, Jungkook distributed hampers by collaborating with Calvin Klein. Each hamper was priced at approximately 65,000 KRW (around $48) and included one of four distinct hats along with an exclusive photo card, which bore the heartfelt message:

“Our ARMY, whom I want to see in 3D.”

Attendees also enjoyed delightful treats from a food truck, which featured drinks, bunny-shaped cupcakes, and macarons curated by Jungkook himself.

For those present at M Countdown, Jungkook shared a special limited-edition perfume inspired by his album GOLDEN, said to contain 24k gold flakes and featuring notes of tiger lily, suede, and amber. Accompanied by a note reading:

Fans attending the pre-recording at SBS Inkigayo were treated to hampers filled with hand-prepared goodies, including croissants, pretzels, purple meringue cookies, macaroons that featured Jungkook’s handwriting, and strawberry lattes.

Currently, the 27-year-old artist is nominated for six categories at the 2024 MAMA Awards. Fans are ardently backing him to achieve wins, expressing their appreciation for his considerate actions.
