Kim Seok-jin, popularly known as Jin from BTS, is gearing up to release his highly anticipated debut solo album, expected to drop by the end of 2024. After launching his first solo single, “The Astronaut,”on October 28, 2022, Jin became the inaugural BTS member to fulfill his mandatory military service, enlisting in December 2022. Following his discharge in June 2024, HYBE announced that his solo debut album would make its way to fans in the final quarter of the year.

Despite these successes, HYBE faced setbacks in 2024, largely due to the military enlistment of its BTS members and ongoing issues with ADOR, which led to a downturn. Following Jin’s military return, there was a brief surge in share prices, yet the stock has since dropped 31.5%.

Researcher Kim Hye-young from Daol Investment & Securities expressed optimism about Jin’s album lifting HYBE’s stock value, stating:

“We believe that there is sufficient upward momentum for the stock price, expecting BTS Jin to record the highest sales of his solo album and all-time in the fourth quarter of this year.”
