Jin from BTS has successfully climbed to the top spot on the Worldwide iTunes Song Chart with his pre-release track, “I’ll Be There,”from his forthcoming album entitled “Happy.”Released on Friday, October 25, at 1 PM KST, this marks Jin’s second release of 2024 following the extended version of “Super Tuna.”This track is part of his debut solo album, “Happy.”
In “I’ll Be There,”Jin conveys heartfelt emotions and aims to inspire listeners by promoting happiness and resilience during tough times.
The track quickly ascended to the No. 1 position on both the Worldwide and European iTunes Song Charts upon its debut. “I’ll Be There”has achieved the top rank in iTunes charts across more than 60 countries globally. Accompanying the song’s release, a music video was uploaded to YouTube, where it quickly became a trending topic, securing the No. 1 spot. BTS member Jin excited fans with the release of “I’ll Be There”on October 25, 2024. On October 26, BIGHIT MUSIC released a Live Performance version of the song, showcasing Jin’s impressive vocal abilities with a live band.
Jin collaborated with Max Schneider and several talented lyricists on this track. Schneider, an American singer, had previously worked with BTS’s Suga on hits such as “Blueberry Eyes”and “Burn It,”and he also collaborated with LE SSERAFIM’s Huh Yunjin on “STUPID IN LOVE.”
Following the song’s premiere, Schneider showed his support by sharing his own cover of “I’ll Be There”on Instagram, expressing his excitement with the caption:
“So honored to have co-written the new JIN of BTS song ‘I’ll Be There.’ Some of the most fun I’ve ever had writing a song. Congrats Jin and the entire BTS team.”
In addition, Jin took the time to interact with fans on Weverse, leaving both heartwarming and humorous comments after the song’s release when fans expressed how much they missed him.
In response to one fan, he quipped:
“I figured that would happen, so I filled the music video with just my face since I’m handsome—I managed to ensure that my appearance was the focus of this video.”
