BTS Jin’s First Solo Album ‘Happy’: Pre-Order Details, Release Date, Eligibility Criteria & Video Call Fan-Sign Event Information

On October 14, BIGHIT MUSIC officially announced the debut solo album of BTS member Jin, titled Happy, stirring excitement across social media platforms. The following day, on October 15, they revealed crucial details such as the pre-order timeframe and the album’s launch date, which is set for November 15, 2024. Fans can also look forward to a unique opportunity for a video call with Jin.

The record label characterized Jin’s first solo project as follows:

“Happy is an earnest invitation for fans to accompany Jin on his quest for happiness. The album contains six distinct tracks, each showcasing a different ambiance, all rooted in a band-driven sound. Through sincere emotions and heartfelt messages, we hope Happy brings joy to everyone.”

The album will be released in three distinct versions:

Happy (Ver. 1 Journey) in Red
Happy (Ver. 2 Imagine) in Green
Happy (Ver. 3 Navigate) in Blue

The pre-order phase will begin on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, and conclude on Thursday, November 14, 2024. Additionally, Jin will host a video call fan sign event for fans who purchase the album during the pre-order phase, selected through a raffle system.

Details on BTS’ Jin’s Solo Album Happy and Video Call Fan Sign Event

On October 15, BIGHIT MUSIC disclosed that the pre-order phase for Jin’s solo album Happy is open. The highly anticipated album is confirmed for release on November 15, 2024. Fans in South Korea can purchase their copies through various e-commerce platforms endorsed by the agency, such as Weverse Shop, YES24, Aladin, KTOWN4U, MUSIC PLANT, MAKESTAR, and MUSIC KOREA.

For international fans, the album is available from Weverse Shop USA, Weverse Shop Global, BTS JAPAN Official Shop, and Universal Music Store (Japan), with shipments beginning in the order of purchase from November 15, 2024.

The three editions of Happy come with an assortment of items, including one Photobook, a CD envelope, an envelope, a lyric poster, a sticker note, a folded poster, a scratch card, and three types of photocards. The Weverse album version incorporates a package box, a photobook, a lyric book, an envelope, a sticker card, three QR cards, a user guide, and one type of photocard.

BTS’ Jin’s Happy Album Video Call Fan Sign Event

Fans who purchase Happy between Tuesday, October 15, at 11:00 am and Thursday, November 14, at 11:59 pm (KST), along with those buying any copy through Weverse Shop Global, will qualify for the video call fan sign event.

Purchasing the Happy album set plus Weverse Album Versions allows fans to enter the raffle. However, purchases of only Weverse Album Versions do not qualify for the event. Other products and album purchases, aside from those eligible for the raffle, are excluded from the video call fan sign. The results will be announced on November 15 at 8 pm KST.

One hundred fortunate fans will receive the opportunity for a one-minute video call with the BTS vocalist on Sunday, November 24, 2024; specific timings will be disclosed later. Note that raffle winnings are non-transferable, and details of the event participants must match those of the raffle winners.

Jin’s inaugural solo album, Happy, is slated for release on November 15, 2024.
