BTS’ Jin to Appear on ‘The K-Star Next Door’ Talk Show with Host Jonathan: Fans Celebrate

On October 23, 2024, news broke that BTS member Jin would be appearing on the highly acclaimed South Korean talk show, The K-Star Next Door, causing a surge of excitement across social media platforms. The show, hosted by comedian and entertainer Jonathan, who also participated as a judge on the popular series My Sibling’s Romance, will feature the BTS star as a special guest. This much-anticipated episode is scheduled to air on October 29, 2024.

Fans can catch the episode on the show’s official YouTube channel, known as 동네스타K (Neighborhood Star K). This appearance marks one of Jin’s two scheduled talk show interactions since his return from military service in June 2024. Additionally, he is slated to appear on the show Salon Drip on November 5, 2024, which will be broadcast on TEO Universe’s YouTube channel.

Excitement among fans is palpable, particularly as the Grammy-nominated artist engages with various reality shows and talk programs. One fan highlighted Jin’s generosity in sharing content, stating on X:

Jin’s Continued Appearances on Reality Shows and Talk Programs

The talented singer-songwriter, known for his hit “Epiphany,”concluded his mandatory military service on June 12, 2024. Since then, he has been busy filming for various reality shows, including his own YouTube series.

He launched his YouTube variety show, RUN JIN, on BTS’ official platform, BANGTANTV, starting on August 13, 2024; this is a spin-off from the popular BTS variety series, Run BTS! Additionally, he made guest appearances on episodes 15 and 16 of MBC’s Half-Star Hotel in Lost Island, which are available on MBC’s official website and YouTube channel.

Jin further participated in Japan’s esteemed charity show, I Love Everyone’s Zoo, which broadcasts on Nippon Television (NTV). In this well-regarded annual special, he collaborated with Arashi member Masaki Aiba to care for and groom rescue dogs to generate funds for the cause.

On October 22, the South Korean talk show Salon Drip, led by host Jang Do-yeon, teased an upcoming episode featuring Jin, mentioned at the close of episode 63. In addition to his appearance on Jonathan’s The K-Star Next Door at 6 PM KST on October 29, the K-pop sensation is also scheduled to appear in the Netflix series Kian Bizarre B&B, which will air in 2025 alongside actress Ji Ye-eun.

In related news, Jin is on the verge of releasing his first solo album titled Happy, which includes six tracks, set to debut on November 15, 2024. A pre-release single from the album will be available globally on October 25.
