BTS’ Jin Reveals First Gucci Memory Thanks to Taehyung: Fans in Awe of “OUR TAEJIN CRUMBS”

On September 23, 2024, W KOREA shared two new Instagram reels featuring BTS’ Kim Seokjin. In one of the clips, the Grammy-nominated South Korean artist reflects on his first experience with Gucci and how fashion has played a vital role in his life as a musician.

The talented artist reminisced about a memorable moment when his bandmate, Kim Taehyung, also known as V, gifted him an item from Gucci, which holds a special place in Jin’s heart. He stated:

“Fashion and music are inseparable, in my opinion. Our music always involves performing on stage, and fashion is what helps us stand out during those performances. My first-ever memory with Gucci? Well, there’s a member of our group named V, and he once gave me Gucci as a birthday gift. So, that might have been my first memory with Gucci.”

Continuing his thoughts, the Epiphany singer-songwriter shared details about his outfit. Sporting pieces from Sabato De Sarno’s latest collection, he described wearing an iridescent knit sweater featuring shades of deep maroon, orange, and purple. Jin noted:

“Today, I’m wearing a flashy knit and well-tailored pants. I also layered two necklaces. I went with a brown tone overall, which I think suits me quite well, right? Thank you. As I watch Sabato De Sarno’s collection this time, I hope that his success and my style come together for even better outcomes in the future. I look forward to enjoying this collection.”

Interestingly, the videos were filmed on September 20, 2024, just before Jin attended the Gucci Spring/Summer 2025 presentation at Milan Fashion Week. The videos quickly went viral as fans admired the BTS idol’s appearance. One fan on X commented:

BTS’ Jin Becomes Most Mentioned Celebrity at Milan Fashion Week with Over 5 Million Mentions

The official account of the World Music Awards announced that BTS’ Kim Seokjin emerged as the most mentioned celebrity during Milan Fashion Week. The idol was present as the latest global ambassador for Gucci’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection presentation on September 20, 2024.

Jin was seated between Madam Web actress Dakota Johnson and François-Henri Pinault, CEO of Kering Groups and owner of Gucci. The idol was also seen mingling with Thai actor Gulf Kanawut, posing for the paparazzi alongside Dakota Johnson, and more.

Reports indicate that thousands of BTS ARMY gathered outside the venue, Triennale di Milano, on September 20, wearing purple T-shirts and carrying cutouts of the BTS members, along with placards featuring Jin’s face.

In addition to Gucci, BTS’ Jin was appointed as the first global brand ambassador for LVMH-owned FRED Jewelry on July 8, 2024. Following his return from military service on June 12, 2024, the singer-songwriter is reportedly working on his debut solo album, which is projected for a year-end release.
