BTS Jin Plans Special Event to Welcome J-Hope Back Post-Military Service

BTS member Jin is allegedly preparing a special gathering to welcome his bandmate J-hope back into civilian life following J-hope’s recent completion of military service. On October 17, 2024, J-hope successfully wrapped up his 18-month tenure as an assistant instructor at the 36th Infantry Division in Wonju, located in Gangwon-do.

Upon his discharge, J-hope took a moment to express his heartfelt appreciation to the fans and media present, acknowledging their unwavering support throughout his military journey. However, what truly intrigued fans was Jin’s whimsical plan to celebrate the return of the rapper. During a live session on the fan platform Weverse last month, Jin teasingly remarked:

“As soon as J-Hope is discharged, I’m going to kidnap him and take him to a filming location.”

Staying true to his word, Jin not only welcomed J-hope with a grand display—arriving at his discharge location with a large floral bouquet—but he is also reportedly orchestrating a content shoot to officially mark the return of the “Arson”performer to everyday life.

This amusing “kidnapping”concept has sparked excitement among fans, who are now keenly anticipating the collaboration between the two artists. Many speculate that Jin might invite J-hope to join his variety show.

Jin’s playful nature and the strong camaraderie shared between the two have consistently captivated fans, leaving many eager to see what creative ventures will come from their upcoming endeavors.

Later on, J-hope engaged with fans again on Weverse during a short chat, mentioning Jin’s plans post-discharge. In his response, he stated:

“I heard that Seokjin hyung wanted to do something after I discharge? Ask him to do it, whatever it is that he wants.”

This lighthearted exchange has further fueled speculation about the exciting content Jin may have planned for J-hope’s transition into civilian life, with fans hoping for something memorable to celebrate the reunion of the two “Seoks.”

With both Jin and J-hope having completed their military duties, fans are not only looking forward to the special event orchestrated by the BTS member but also to the fresh content and activities they’re set to unveil for their fandom.

Additionally, in a brief conversation with reporters, J-hope conveyed his gratitude to fans and the public for their encouragement during his military service. He expressed relief at completing his service in good health and acknowledged the assembled media. During his address, Jin assisted by holding the microphone for him.

Reflecting on his experience as an assistant drill instructor, J-hope shared his memories of the marches he participated in and how the people of Wonju consistently supported and cheered for the soldiers. He encouraged the public to continue their support for the nation’s military forces.

As the remaining members of BTS—including RM, V, Jungkook, Jimin, and Suga—continue their military service until June 2025, the reunion of Jin and J-hope is poised to bring joy and excitement to their dedicated fan community.
