BTS’ Jin Officially Announces Super Tuna Full Version Release on Weverse: “Hope This Song Fills Your Days with Laughter”
BTS member Jin made headlines on October 10, 2024, when he utilized the South Korean social media platform Weverse to announce the upcoming release of the full version of “Super Tuna.”The revelation sparked excitement among fans worldwide. BigHit Music expressed their enthusiasm about the forthcoming single and thanked everyone for their overwhelming support for “Super Tuna”during the 2024 FESTA. The announcement included the following message:

BTS’ Jin’s Super Tuna: A Tribute to Fishing
In conjunction with the announcement on Weverse, BigHit Music unveiled a fresh album cover showcasing Jin in a new style. The visual presents him in a classic white t-shirt layered with a yellow patterned shirt, immersed in the ocean, proudly holding a large fish. The poster also specified that the new track would drop on October 11 at 1 PM KST.
For those unfamiliar with the track, Jin originally released “Super Tuna”on December 4, 2021, accompanied by an engaging music video on the official BANGTAN TV YouTube channel. The song was later widely released on October 21, 2022. Jin crafted this catchy piece while fishing with his friend and producer, Bumzu, completing its melody in just five minutes as a celebration of their shared hobby.
The accompanying music video features Jin dancing on the beach with two dancers, transitioning into vibrant animated scenes depicting ocean themes, fishing, and lively fish-inspired dance moves. Bumzu also made a special guest appearance as one of the backup dancers in the video.
In related news, Jin recently became the global brand ambassador for the prestigious Italian fashion brand Gucci and the luxury watch brand Fred. He also participated in the torch relay for the 2024 Paris Olympics, proudly representing South Korea during a milestone march at the Louvre Museum on France’s National Day.
