BTS Jin Joins YouTube Show ‘Salon Drip 2’ with Jang Do-yeon: Air Date, Time, and Essential Details
BTS member Jin is set to appear on the widely-followed South Korean talk show, Salon Drip 2, this November. The official confirmation was shared on October 21, 2024, via the show’s X account (@TEO_universe_), announcing Jin as a feature guest in the next episode.
This much-awaited episode will air on November 5, 2024, at 6 PM KST, and will be accessible for free on the official YouTube channel @TEO_universe, enabling fans globally to tune in.
Salon Drip 2 is a comedic talk show hosted by comedian Jang Do-yeon, recognized for its entertaining and light-hearted interviews with various celebrity guests. Jin will join a lineup of five guests in the forthcoming episode, which will support his promotion for his debut solo album, titled Happy.

Excitement is building as fans eagerly await the release of Jin’s first solo album, Happy, which is set to launch on November 15, 2024. The album will feature six captivating tracks:

- Heart on the Window [featuring Red Velvet’s Wendy]

The pre-release single, I’ll Be There, is due to be released on October 25, 2024.
Additionally, the idol has planned several exciting events surrounding his album release. Jin announced a special “High-five with Jin”event in celebration of his album launch, according to an update from the BTS Japan official fan club on October 15, 2024. This event will take place in Tokyo, Japan, on November 30, 2024.
The announcement revealed that 700 fortunate fans would be able to participate. To gain entry, fans must enter a lottery system where each purchase of the album Happy provides a unique lottery serial number. Selected participants will get the chance to have a personal high-five with a BTS member.
Jin’s management has also introduced a special application lottery for fans to win exclusive merchandise, including a poster signed by Jin himself.
This lottery will run from November 16 to December 8, with 100 lucky winners receiving the autograph. Pre-orders for Happy began on October 15, 2024, with the album anticipated to release in Korea on November 15 and in Japan on November 16.
The album will be sold in three diverse editions—Journey, Imagine, and Navigate—each containing collectible elements, such as photobooks, posters, and stickers. Fans who order from the BTS Japan Official Shop or Universal Music Store will also receive limited-edition hologram photo cards and postcards, plus exclusive perks if they purchase all three versions.
In a noteworthy milestone, Jin completed his military service in June 2024, becoming the first member of BTS to do so.
