BTS’ Jin Joins Ryu Ho-jin’s New tvN Variety Show ‘The Hall of Fame’ – Fans Celebrate

As per a recent update from Sports Donga, BTS member Kim Seok-jin, also known as Jin, is set to appear in the cast of tvN’s new entertainment program, The Hall of Fame. This show will be helmed by the acclaimed director Ryu Ho-jin, famous for producing hit variety programs like KBS 2TV’s 2 Days & 1 Night Season 3, Unexpected Business, and Busan Boys in Sydney.

The new series promises to take place outdoors and features a day trip format where cast members will tour renowned destinations across South Korea, solve intriguing puzzles, and partake in various activities to enhance viewer enjoyment.

After being discharged from military service on June 12, 2024, the talented singer-songwriter expressed eagerness to participate in numerous reality and entertainment programs. Recently, he made a special appearance on MBC’s Half-Star Hotel in Lost Island alongside his longtime friend Sandeul from B1A4. Moreover, he has been actively producing content for his YouTube series, RUN JIN, which releases a new episode every Tuesday.

In addition to these activities, Kim Seok-jin will guest star in Netflix’s upcoming series, Kian’s Bizarre B&B (known in Korean as Daehwajang Ki-anjang), as reported by Rolling Stone. This show is expected to premiere in 2025.

Kim Seok-jin to star in the upcoming Netflix series Kian’s Bizarre B&B in 2025

Kian’s Bizarre B&B offers a fresh take on the beloved bed-and-breakfast reality show concept. The series follows the charismatic Kian, portrayed by the popular South Korean actor Kim Kwang-soo, who manages a quirky guesthouse that welcomes a diverse array of celebrities and everyday guests.

As detailed by Rolling Stone, Jin’s role in the show is anticipated to provide fans with a unique glimpse into his life beyond his music career. This will be his first significant Netflix project following his military service.

The forthcoming series aims to blend humor with poignant moments as celebrities navigate their unique experiences at Kian’s eccentric guesthouse. Kian’s Bizarre B&B will also feature South Korean actress Ji Ye-eun, who gained fame from the 2024 K-drama Good Partner and is a consistent member of the Korean variety show Saturday Night Live Korea.

In other updates, the BTS member is slated to release his debut solo album, Happy, on November 15, 2024. This album will house six tracks, including Running Wild, I’ll Be There, Another Level, I Will Come to You, and Heart on the Window (featuring Wendy from Red Velvet).
