On October 24, GQ JAPAN unveiled a teaser for their December special edition featuring Kim Seo-jin of BTS. The highly anticipated issue will hit the stands on Friday, November 1, 2024. This unique cover edition is a joint project with VOGUE JAPAN, where Jin will be showcased in both their regular and special publications.

GQ JAPAN released a short video clip in which the Grammy-nominated star shares a heartfelt message for his fans, teasing the upcoming special cover editions.

“Greetings to all readers of VOGUE JAPAN and GQ JAPAN! This is Jin from BTS! I’m excited to announce that I’ll be featured in the December editions of both magazines, set to be released on Friday, November 1st. You can expect to see various facets of my charm in each issue, so stay tuned! I miss you all so much, and I love you!”

Moreover, the publication has shared another teaser video highlighting the pictorial shoot featuring the BTS star. Jin, known for his hit “Epiphany,”showcased a range of tailored suits complemented by a black satin choker reminiscent of the BTS “Blood Sweat & Tears”era.

The video, set against an instrumental violin score, creatively captures Jin’s silhouette, hinting at an enchanting outdoor setting.

Fans have expressed their admiration for the artistic theme behind the impending special cover issue. A follower highlighted the intricate details in the teaser on X:

The BTS ARMY praised Jin’s “stunning visuals” seen in the teaser clip, with some humorously likening him to a “vampire.”

BIGHIT MUSIC Teases Jin’s Upcoming Pre-release Single, “I’ll Be There”

The talented BTS vocalist is launching his debut solo album, titled “Happy,”on November 15. The album’s pre-release single, “I’ll Be There,”is set for release on October 25 at 1 PM KST (9 PM PT on October 24).

This track will feature a robust band sound at its core. In the teaser, the Grammy nominee showcases a mullet hairstyle and outfits inspired by rock band aesthetics. According to Star News, the song aims to inspire his fans to embrace happiness and discover their inner strength.

Additionally, the upcoming album “Happy”will feature six songs, including “I’ll Be There,”alongside tracks like “Running Wild,””Another Level,””Falling,””Heart on the Window”(featuring Wendy from RED VELVET), and “I Will Come to You.”

The lead single, “Running Wild,”was co-produced by Gary Barlow of Take That, while “Falling”saw collaboration with GHSTLOOP and Take & Toru from the Japanese rock band ONE OK ROCK.
