On September 23, 2024, BTS’ Park Jimin achieved yet another milestone with his hit track, WHO. The song has surpassed 600 million streams on Spotify, making it the 5th fastest track to reach this remarkable milestone in the music streaming platform’s history.
WHO serves as the title track of Jimin’s second solo album, MUSE, which was released on July 19, 2024. The album features a total of 7 songs, including the pre-released digital track, Closer Than This, along with the pre-release single, Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. LOCO).
Significantly, Smeraldo Garden Marching Band was the first song from MUSE to hit 100 million streams on Spotify, claiming the title of the fastest song by a K-pop solo artist to achieve this feat in 2024. However, WHO has since moved ahead, securing second place on the list with over 603 million streams as of September 23.
Currently, the other track in Jimin’s repertoire with immense streaming success is Like Crazy, from his debut solo album, FACE (2023). Released in March 2023, Like Crazy debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, making Jimin the first K-pop soloist to achieve this honor. Additionally, Like Crazy has amassed over 1.288 billion streams on Spotify.
