Celebrating Jimin’s Service: Upcoming Events as His Military Discharge Approaches
As the anticipated date of June 11, 2025, approaches for BTS’s Jimin’s military discharge, a wave of excitement among fans worldwide is palpable. To celebrate his dedication and service, various fan initiatives are being mobilized, particularly in Yeoncheon, where Jimin is currently stationed.
Enthusiastic Fan Activities in Yeoncheon
The “Park Jimin Preservation Society”has spearheaded a creative campaign, arranging for bus advertisements to run throughout June, specifically from the 1st to the 30th. These ads will cover key transportation routes, connecting Jeongok to Yeoncheon and the nearby military base. Furthermore, from May 30 to June 11, they are set to unveil 100 visually striking streetlight banners throughout the area.
Compounding these efforts, the “Jimin Apple Music Team, ”in partnership with global fan communities like “PJM Hungary”and “TEAM JIMIN AUSTRALIA, ”has announced plans to install an impressive 230 sets of streetlight banners. Additionally, large placards with heartfelt messages—such as “We’ve been waiting for this day when Jimin comes to catch us♡”and “We’re proud of you! Welcome back, Jimin!♡”—will be prominently displayed on Yeoncheon’s sole pedestrian overpass from June 5 to 11.
Community Support Initiatives
In a previous initiative, the “Jimin Apple Music Team”launched the “Jimin mini bus stop”project, which established a resting area for soldiers and local residents close to Jimin’s military base. This mini bus stop, equipped with a vibrant yellow bench and a bus parking guide, has resonated well with the community, reflecting the warmth and creativity of Jimin’s supporters.
Recognition for Exceptional Service
Jimin’s commitment and outstanding performance during his military service have not gone unnoticed. He has earned recognition from the division commander for being the best trainee during basic training and was honored as an “elite soldier”last June, resulting in an early promotion. As his discharge date nears, anticipation continues to build among fans eager to welcome him back on June 11, 2025.
