BTS to Mark 12th Anniversary with a Grand Festival in 2025

The renowned South Korean group BTS is gearing up for a spectacular two-week festival to commemorate its 12th anniversary, taking place from June 1 to June 14, 2025. This event is particularly significant as the majority of its members will have completed their mandatory military service, creating an exciting atmosphere for fans.

Event Overview

The celebration will feature a blend of offline activities in South Korea along with online content designed for fans around the globe. The primary offline festivities are scheduled for June 13 and 14 at the KINTEX Exhibition Centre 2 in Goyang, South Korea. Fans can look forward to around 20 interactive booths operational from 10:00 a.m.to 6:00 p.m.on both days, showcasing activities like a FESTA-themed game zone, DIY photo card stations, and a coloring wall inspired by BTS album artwork.

Among the many attractions, attendees can revel in:

  • ARMY Bomb Photo Spot: A perfect opportunity for fan selfies.
  • Voice Zone: Featuring recorded messages from BTS members.
  • Trophy Zone: An exhibition showcasing BTS’s remarkable achievements.

Festival Theme and Message

This year’s festival theme, “Twelve O’Clock, ”derives inspiration from BTS’s heartfelt ballad “Zero O’Clock, ”symbolizing themes of new beginnings and hope. The festival announcement conveyed a touching message: “Time for us to meet again. On June 13, 2025, after a long wait, we will begin our festival together once more, as ‘us.’

Global Access Through Streaming

For fans worldwide, BTS is offering access to live-streaming events through Weverse. Three consecutive evening events are set to take place:

  • Tuesday at 8:00 PM KST: “BTS Replay: MV Timeline”
  • Wednesday: “BTS Replay: MV Solo Tracks”
  • Thursday: “BTS Replay: MAGIC SHOP in BUSAN”

Subtitles will be provided in Korean, English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese for the final stream.

Exclusive Fan Opportunities

An exclusive “ARMY ZONE”booth has been created for members of the BTS Global Official Fanclub. Applicants require prior submission and will be chosen through a raffle system. Winners will receive special gift sets, with identification and proof of win required for entry.

The festival also includes vibrant online content, including daily releases of photo collections and member-curated Spotify playlists leading up to the Friday event. Additionally, limited-edition merchandise will be available throughout the festival.

Anticipated Member Reunions

The festival perfectly coincides with the expected completion of military service for the remaining members RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook in June 2025. RM and V are set to return by Tuesday, followed by Jimin and Jungkook on Wednesday, while Suga is anticipated to complete his service by June 21. The timing generates excitement about possible group reunions during the celebration.
