His post quickly captured the attention of fans, sparking numerous comments across social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter).

“Research” Bro looking like a fan now ngl”

“Tell him come to Toronto”- Top5 seemingly challenges Kendrick Lamar.
While appearing on “Late Night With Liyah Mai”on October 7, 2024, Top5 reportedly issued a challenge to Kendrick Lamar while discussing the ongoing feud between Lamar and Drake. He stated:
“Tell him come to Toronto. Swiss cheese. I’ll get the low, put on my Nike tech black, tell YG get us a driver, put the window down and get some fresh air.”
He elaborated further:
“How disrespectful are y’all to ask me about Kendrick Lamar? Drake’s a bad boy. There’s a girl right there, you want [her] to get you? Don’t disrespect my homie Drake like that.”
This isn’t the first time Top5 has seemingly made threats towards Kendrick Lamar. In a September 2024 livestream with DJ Akademiks and Adin Ross, he expressed his intent to confront both Metro Boomin and Kendrick Lamar, saying:
“I’m doing my homework right now, I’m doing my task on them. Nothing incriminating, I’m just looking for them. I want Metro Boomin one on one. I don’t want no weapons, nothing. I’d knock him the f**k out.”
Additionally, he had previously purportedly threatened Kendrick regarding a popular Toronto restaurant, New Ho King, notably referenced in the track “Euphoria,”stating:
“Kendrick Lamar, you passed the border. Chubbs called me. I will quit rapping if Kendrick Lamar goes to [the Toronto restaurant] New Ho King without 20 police officers […] You’re crazy for testing my gangster. You see what happened to DJ Drama?”
In other updates, Top5 was recently exonerated of murder charges stemming from a shooting that occurred in 2021, as of September 23, 2024. He was released from prison after serving more than three years and expressed appreciation for Drake’s support throughout the ordeal.
