For players seeking legendary gear in Borderlands 4, exploring the game’s vaults is essential. Whether you’re facing formidable foes like Primordial Guardian Inceptus, Radix, or Origo, preparation is key for success.
As you navigate the rugged landscape of Terminus Range, you are probably discovering additional Vault Fragments that require your attention. To unlock the Arch of Origo, you need to locate three specific keys, which are cleverly hidden throughout the environment.
Finding these Vault Key Fragments in Terminus Range can pose a challenge due to the area’s rocky terrain, but this guide will help you successfully locate all of them in Borderlands 4.
Location of The Pit Vault Key Fragment
The first Vault Key Fragment can be found in a location known as The Pit. This area is particularly prominent when completing side missions for a character named The Boss.
To reach The Pit, head east from the Snowy Wells Safehouse and southwest from the Deathright Order Silo. Upon arrival, look for cliffs on the eastern side of the structures.
You’ll need to utilize your grappling hook to ascend these cliffs. Upon reaching the summit, you’ll find the Vault Key Fragment waiting for retrieval.
Location of the Cuspid Climb Vault Key Fragment
The second Vault Key Fragment is located in the Cuspid Climb, which is accessible from The Relinquery Order Silo; however, there is a particular method to do so.
From the Order Silo, jump out of the window and employ the grappling launcher positioned in front of the Silo to propel yourself skyward. This maneuver will allow you to glide to the large cliff that is essential for retrieving the Vault Key Fragment.
Upon landing on the overhanging cliff, you’ll notice a cave in the distance. As you approach, prepare for a confrontation with a large Mangler.
Defeat the Mangler, venture into the cave, and ascend the platforms to locate the Vault Key Fragment at the top.
Location of the Vestal Garrison Vault Key Fragment
The final Vault Key Fragment is situated within a region known as The Vestal Garrison. Players will navigate through this area during a central campaign chapter set in Terminus Range, and it can be conveniently accessed from The Nightcap Safehouse nearby.
The Vestal Garrison functions as an Order Outpost. Once you arrive, be prepared for an immediate attack from The Order. After neutralizing the threat, enter the outpost and proceed to the left side to access the control room swiftly.
Inside the control room, the Vault Key Fragment will be located atop a small container, ready for you to collect.
Location of the Arch of Origo
Unlike previous vaults, such as the one in Arch of Radix, the Vault of Origo is hidden within a cave rather than being located outdoors. To find it, you will return to The Nightcap Safehouse in the Windspear area of Terminus Range.
From the Safehouse, head south past the Order compound where you collected the last Vault Key Fragment. When the path diverges to the left and right, take the left route and ascend the hill. At the top, look for a ledge to jump and glide to.
Once you reach the ledge, traverse it to enter the cave. Follow the path until you reach a large chamber where the Arch of Origo stands. As you get close, the vault will materialize before you. Insert the key to activate it and prepare for the vault raid.
