In Borderlands 4, players have a wealth of activities at their fingertips. After awakening in Kairos, your primary mission is to dismantle The Order. Besides eliminating their propaganda by destroying Propaganda Speakers, you can also undermine their operations by locating and demolishing their hidden bunkers.
There are six Order Bunkers scattered across the world of Kairos, each designed to deliver a critical blow to The Order’s operations. At the end of each bunker, players face a unique boss, giving you the perfect opportunity to farm for legendary loot and powerful items.
In this guide, we will identify the locations of all the Order Bunkers in Borderlands 4 and provide essential tips for how to access them.
How to Access Order Bunkers in Borderlands 4
As you explore the Fadefields for various collectibles like Vault Key Fragments, you may stumble upon an Order Bunker early in your journey. However, without the special weapon known as Locust, unlocking these bunkers is impossible.
During the storyline, you’ll encounter a chemical weapon named Locust, developed by Idolator Sol. Upon gaining access to this weapon, you’ll be equipped to breach the bunkers. Locate a nearby Locust canister dispenser; use it to obtain a canister, then throw it at the bunker door to dissolve the protective layer, gaining entry to the bunker’s contents.
1. Blacklime Bunker
Location: The Howl – Fadefields
The Blacklime Bunker is the first location you might encounter within the game, found in The Howl area of the Fadefields. To reach it, navigate from the Shut-Eye Keep Safehouse by heading southwest into the wooded regions surrounding the mountains. The bunker is nestled against the cliffs, where you’ll find the Locust canister perched on a rock spire nearby.
2. Tipping Point
Location: Idolator’s Noose – The Fadefields
The second bunker, known as Tipping Point, is situated within the expansive Idolator’s Noose area, marked by a substantial Order facility. The bunker door can be found along the cliff face.
To find the necessary Locust canister, move west from the bunker door, navigate around the wall, and head north to discover a fan. Passing through the fan leads to a path that takes you to the room containing the Locust. Once you acquire it, drop down through an opening to throw it at the bunker door.
3. The Crawlcroft
Location: Grindstone of the Worthy – Carcadia Burn
The Crawlcroft bunker is located in the Grindstone of the Worthy area within Carcadia Burn. Once you arrive, follow the road adjacent to the Dominion wall, proceeding toward a significant Order Camp positioned centrally in the region.
Within the camp, look for a large cave entrance that leads directly to the bunker. The Locust canister is conveniently located near the cave entrance, concealed under some scaffolding.
4. The Wireworks
Location: The Low Keys – Terminus Range
The Wireworks bunker is the fourth in line, located on the western perimeter of The Low Keys within the Terminus Range. This area can be conveniently accessed by traveling from The Nightcap safehouse to the south, passing through the Order checkpoint.
To unlock this bunker, ascend to the mountain summit where a small camp is established. Use your jump and glide ability to traverse the rocky terrain to reach the bunker door. The Locust canister can be retrieved from the base of the climbable wall beneath the bunker entrance.
5. Craven’s Nook
Location: Heart of the Mountain – Terminus Range
Craven’s Nook is the fifth Order Bunker, located in the east section of the Terminus Range, near Sanctuary. To find the bunker, head north from the Sanctuary site; it should be easily spotted while navigating the rocky landscape.
The Locust canister is located on a cliff below the bunker entrance, making it relatively straightforward to collect.
6. Ironwall Resolve
Location: Terminus District – Dominion
The final Order Bunker in Borderlands 4 can be found in the southern part of the Terminus District, specifically in Dominion. Seek out the bunker to the east of Praetor’s Lecture.
To access the Locust canister for this bunker, climb atop a nearby garbage pile near Praetor’s Lecture and activate it before proceeding to the canister.
