As you embark on your journey through Borderlands 4, collecting Evocariums in The Fadefields is only part of the excitement. Equally important are the activities that offer strategic advantages, particularly the Safehouses, which serve as essential spawn points after a defeat.
Throughout your adventure, you’ll discover various Safehouses that not only provide shelter but also function as fast travel hubs. These locations facilitate seamless navigation across the expansive game map, ensuring you can swiftly move from one area to another.
The Safehouses of The Fadefields
In total, The Fadefields boast four pivotal Safehouses, each unlocking different fast travel points across the landscape. Below is a detailed overview of their locations and unique features:
1. Coastal Bonescrape – Abandoned Post

The first Safehouse, known as the Abandoned Post, is situated in the southern region of The Fadefields, specifically within the Coastal Bonescrape area. A noteworthy aspect of this Safehouse is that it is automatically unlocked during the main questline.
After arriving on the beach, Claptrap will instruct you on how to access the Safehouse, marking your initial fast travel point. This introductory safe haven is unique, as other Safehouses require specific actions to unlock.
For subsequent Safehouses, you must locate a datapad that activates the location, easily identified on your compass once you enter the vicinity. To officially claim it for the Crimson Resistance, interact with the console in the main room using Echo-4.
2. The Howl – Shut-Eye Keep

The second Safehouse, Shut-Eye Keep, is positioned in the northern part of The Howl. It’s easily accessible by navigating the roads leading northward from The Launchpad.
Upon entry, be prepared for immediate combat, as this Safehouse is teeming with enemies. Look for the datapad located on the ledges outside the main Safehouse area to activate this location.
3. Idolator’s Noose – Someday Rise

Your third destination is found in the Idolator’s Noose, specifically the Someday Rise Safehouse. If you reach this area via the Order facility, head south to access the Safehouse.
Gaining entry can be tricky; it’s advisable to navigate around the mountain to the south rather than approaching from the north. Enter through the southern pathway near Tetanus Quad to directly access the main room, where you’ll discover the necessary datapad for claiming the Safehouse. Don’t forget to head east afterward to Rosemarie’s Reserve to continue your quest for the Vault Key Fragment.
4. Idolator’s Noose – Wyclef’s Reprieve

Lastly, Wyclef’s Reprieve, the final Safehouse in The Fadefields, views the surrounding waters and Mirehome, located on the southeastern fringe of Idolator’s Noose, bordering the Dissected Plains.
This Safehouse may appear isolated, but it is accessible, offering essential resources once activated. Look for the datapad situated on a lower ledge underneath the building. From this point, venture southeast to Boglight Vigilance to find one of the Fadefields Propaganda Speakers.
Securing these Safehouses not only enhances your survival but also enriches your overall gameplay experience in Borderlands 4.
