On October 18, 2024, the highly anticipated collaboration between BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Bruno Mars, titled APT., instantly soared to the top of the iTunes Top Songs Chart, achieving the number one spot in thirty-two nations shortly after its launch. Among the countries celebrating this chart-topping success were Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Cambodia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Egypt, El Salvador, Estonia, Hong Kong, Israel, Qatar, Taiwan, Singapore, Turkey, Thailand, the UAE, Vietnam, the Netherlands, and various other regions.

For those who may not know, BLACKPINK’s Rosé officially announced her collaboration with the renowned American artist Bruno Mars on October 18. This release came via The Black Label and included a music video that was shared on her official YouTube channel. The track was made available through YG Plus and Atlantic Records.

APT. Earns Five-Star Accolades for Rosé and Bruno Mars

The song APT. was co-created by an impressive lineup of songwriters, including Rosé herself, along with Amy Allen, Christopher Brody Brown, Omer Fedi, Philip Lawrence, Theron Thomas, Henry Walter, Michael Chapman, and Nicholas Chinn, among others. The production was led by Bruno Mars, Omer Fedi, Cirkut, and their talented team.

Upon its debut, APT. garnered a prestigious five-star rating from NME, which praised Rosé’s ability to craft a standout song. It emphasized that, with this track being the lead single from her first solo album, Rosé has made significant strides in her artistic journey.

In an impressive milestone, Rosé made history as the first Asian female artist to enter the top 10 of the United States iTunes chart, debuting at the number 8 position. The track also excelled on domestic platforms, reaching number 1 on Bugs and Genie, while coming in second on MelOn and achieving position 18 on FLO.

The music video for APT. amassed over 14 million views on YouTube just 12 hours post-release, quickly climbing to the top of YouTube’s trending list globally, and becoming the highest-viewed music video in the past 24 hours.

Additionally, the music video set a record as the fastest music video by a K-solo artist in 2024 to reach 10 million views, achieving this in just 8 hours and 50 minutes. Moreover, BBC Radio 1, a leading pop radio station in the UK with over eight million listeners each week, recognized APT. as Tune of the Weekend.

In recent announcements, Rosé has revealed her plans to unveil an exclusive green vinyl edition of her upcoming album Rosie, especially for her top fans and BLACKPINK supporters on Spotify.

Rosé’s full-length album, Rosie, is set for release on December 6, 2024, under The Black Label. Recently, she made a striking appearance at Saint Laurent’s Spring Summer Paris Fashion Week 2025, showcasing a nightdress paired with her blonde hairstyle.
