BLACKPINK’s Lisa Dazzles at BVLGARI ‘Eternally Reborn’ Exhibition in Seoul

LISA from BLACKPINK made a stunning appearance at the BVLGARI Eternally Reborn event held in Seoul on Friday, October 11, 2024. The exciting news was initially reported by the official @AboutMusicYT account and later echoed by Montres Korea’s official Instagram page. The talented rapper turned heads in a vibrant red gown by BURC AKYOL, complemented by a timeless Serpenti BVLGARI gold watch adorning her left wrist.

Taking on the role of audio docent was actress Kim Ji-won, who is also the inaugural Korea House Ambassador for BVLGARI. She guided guests through the exhibition, which seeks to offer an immersive and engaging experience. This special exhibition will be available for public enjoyment until November 3rd but will remain closed on Mondays.

This exhibition celebrated both the 140th anniversary of BVLGARI’s establishment as well as a century and a half of secondary education in Korea and Italy. It showcased a unique collaboration with contemporary artists, including Bae Chan-hyo, Lee-chun, and Lee-chul, alongside works from Olivier.

LISA concluded her solo agreement with YG Entertainment in December 2023 but decided to renew her group contract. On February 7, 2024, she launched her own label, LLOUD, and entered into a record partnership with RCA Records, which also represents artists such as Shakira, SZA, P!NK, and Britney Spears.

She made her solo comeback with the single “ROCKSTAR,”released on June 28, 2024, under her new label and RCA. Following that, she unveiled her second single, “NEW WOMAN”featuring Rosalía, on August 15. LISA’s remarkable achievements continued as she secured the Best K-pop award at the MTV Video Music Awards on September 12, 2024, marking her as the first solo K-pop artist to win the category twice.

She graced the stage at the Global Citizen Festival on September 28, 2024, performing “Moonlit Floor”live, which took many fans by surprise, before its official release on October 3, 2024. “Moonlit Floor”is a reimagined version of the original 1998 song “Kiss Me”by Sixpence None the Richer.

While LISA is credited as the performer for “Moonlit Floor,”the songwriting credits belong to Sixpence None the Richer members Ryan Williamson (also known as Rykeyz), Matt Slocum, and Jessie Reyez. Rykeyz also handled the production of the track, which came out under LLOUD Co. and RCA Records.

In news regarding her expanding career, LISA was announced as the global ambassador for Louis Vuitton in July 2024 and is scheduled to make her acting debut in 2025 with the HBO Originals series, The White Lotus, season 3.
