The music video achieved over 14 million views and 1.76 million likes within just 24 hours post-release, marking it as the most-watched music video by a Korean solo artist within the first day of 2024.

Moreover, the music video continues to hold the No. 1 trending position on YouTube in the music category and has reached the top of the MelOn Top 100 chart. With this accomplishment, Jennie joins the ranks of IU as the only female solo artist with multiple top 10 hits on this chart this year.

“Mantra”also made history as the first solo release by a K-pop artist to debut on the YouTube Music Daily Top Songs USA chart in 2024. It further prevailed in various markets, particularly in China, where it became the No. 1 best-selling K-pop solo single, earning a 3x Gold certification on QQ Music.

In recent developments, BLACKPINK’s Jennie signed a solo artist deal with Columbia Records in partnership with her label, Odd Atelier, on September 8, 2024.
