The collaborative single “APT.”by BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Bruno Mars has overtaken Taylor Swift and Post Malone’s “Fortnight”to become the largest male-female debut on YouTube in 2024. This track has achieved the status of the most appreciated and quickest duet to reach 10 million views on the platform this year. Since its launch on October 18, “APT.”has been breaking numerous records.

Released on April 19, 2024, “Fortnight”initially claimed the title of the biggest debut of the year until Rosé and Bruno’s “APT.”took the crown. The duo’s collaboration also won the Best Collaboration award at the 2024 Video Music Awards.

Record-Setting Success of BLACKPINK Rosé and Bruno Mars’ APT.

Within the first 24 hours of its release, Rosé made history as the highest-charting K-pop female solo artist on the US iTunes Top 10. She stands out as the top debuting female Asian artist on US iTunes, with the track climbing the charts in over 32 nations, including places like the UAE, Taiwan, and Poland.

“APT.”has also broken records for being the fastest music video by a Korean solo artist to achieve one million likes and to hit 10 million views in 2024.

In just a day, Rosé and Bruno Mars achieved a real-time all-kill on several Korean music streaming services, claiming the number one spot on platforms such as Melon, Genie, Flo, and Bugs. Rosé also enjoyed her first solo number one ranking on the MelOn Top 100 with “APT.”
