Exciting Mid-Season Update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6

This week, players of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 can anticipate a thrilling mid-season update referred to as Season 2 Reloaded. Developer Treyarch has officially unveiled the exciting new content players can expect, including multiple enhancements and a unique crossover event.

Fresh Multiplayer Experiences

The update introduces two new maps to the multiplayer arena.

  • Grind Ooze: A fan-favorite medium-sized map returning from Black Ops II, designed for engaging 6v6 gameplay.
  • Bullet: This brand-new map stands out for its dynamic setting on an active bullet train, supporting both 6v6 and 2v2 matches.

TMNT Crossover Event

A highlight of this update is a limited-time crossover with the beloved Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. This event introduces a special playlist that replaces regular operators with iconic turtle characters, each equipped with unique abilities that can be activated through Scorestreaks:

  • Splinter: Disappear in smoke and teleport behind enemy lines.
  • Leonardo: Utilize the Tracker, Ghost, Vigilance, and Cold-Blooded Perks for stealthy navigation across the battlefield.
  • Donatello: Identify Operators, Equipment, and Field Upgrades behind walls, and hack enemy devices.
  • Michelangelo: Provides a Pizza Box that grants teammates a Double Damage boost and replenishes ammo and Equipment when consumed.
  • Raphael: Wields unlimited Shuriken for additional combat advantage.

Zombie Mode Enhancements

The beloved Zombies mode will also feature the TMNT theme with the introduction of the Cowabunga Cranked mode, allowing players to unleash their turtle powers against hordes of the undead. The crossover event will be available from February 27 through March 13.

Besides the new maps and crossover, players can look forward to:

  • A new perk and wildcard for multiplayer gameplay.
  • The Tomb: Directed Mode for those invested in the zombie lore.

Release Details

The Season 2 Reloaded update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is set to launch on Thursday, February 20, at 8 AM PT for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation consoles.
