Black Ops 6 “Separation Anxiety” Mission Guide: Completion Tips and Rewards

Separation Anxiety marks the tenth mission within the Black Ops 6 Campaign. Following the previous chapter, where you ventured into Vorkuta—a former Russian prison camp now serving as a Pantheon stronghold—to seize bioweapons, you soon learn that these dangerous materials have already been sent to a different site. During this mission, you’ll encounter Harrow, leading to her capture.

After apprehending her, you escort her back to your safe house, dubbed ‘The Rook.’ The mission kicks off as soon as you access it through the mission board.

This guide aims to walk you through the Separation Anxiety mission, ensuring a smooth completion.

Black Ops 6 Campaign Mission 8: “Separation Anxiety“Walkthrough

At the start of the mission, your team—including Case, Marshal, Sev, Felix, Adler, and Woods—gathers in the Operation Room to interrogate Harrow regarding the location of the bioweapons. When she remains uncooperative, Adler resorts to injecting her with a substance he dubs “Separation.”

This injection induces a altered mental state in Harrow, allowing you to take control within her mind. Your primary objective is to navigate her memories to help her rediscover herself and disclose the bioweapon’s location.

Uncover Pantheon’s Intentions

Your journey begins outside Harrow’s childhood home, with various items scattered around and a single path leading forward. Follow this path until you enter her childhood bedroom, where a younger Harrow cries beside her bed. Engage with her to initiate a flashback sequence, during which her mother frantically enters the room and urges you to hide. Crouch and crawl under the bed to complete this flashback.

Upon the flashback’s conclusion, you’re back in the present with Harrow, who stands in the same location. After a brief exchange with Marshal, you’ll need to interact with a nearby mirror. Upon doing so, you see a negative reflection warning you against revealing anything, causing the mirror to shatter into three fragments.

Your mission is to recover these shards to mend the mirror.

Embark on the Scavenger Hunt

You are then transported to a new area, assuming control of Harrow’s younger self once more. A fragment of the broken mirror appears before you, but as you attempt to grab it, it locks inside a box that requires a code for access. This scavenger hunt task involves solving puzzles at three designated locations to unveil the correct code.

Tea Party Puzzle

Head towards the first marked area located on the far right. Enter the room and ascend the stairs, crouching under an obstruction to continue. You will discover a puzzle note that states:

“They came for tea and friendly chat. Count the guests and double that.”

Count the attendees at the tea party: a house, a bear, a deer, and a doll, which totals four participants; thus, the answer is 4×2=8.

Scouts Puzzle

Proceed to the next puzzle located on the right side of the area. Here, you will find another note which reads:

“Count them all and let’s begin. Trophies minus badges will get the win.”

There are six trophies atop the shelf, while below are five badges. To solve this, subtract the badges from the trophies, giving you 6−5=1.

Desk Puzzle

For the final puzzle, navigate to the third marked spot. On a desk, you will find a note stating:

“Working hard, wanting more. Always seek the highest score.”

On that same desk, three answer sheets hold different marks: 5, 8, and 9. Since the query requests for the highest score, the answer is 9.

After gathering all necessary numbers, return to the locked box and input the digits in the sequence: [Desk] [Scouts] [Tea Party]. The correct code to unlock is 918.

If you prefer a quicker approach, you can directly enter the code 918 immediately after the box locks to access the first broken shard.

Upon collecting the fragmented piece, you revert to the same room where the mirror shattered. When you place this piece within the mirror, another childhood flashback commences: you step out of your room and witness your mother being shot. In a state of panic, your father rushes to you, hiding you inside a cupboard and advising you to stay quiet. The flashback concludes, returning you to your present self, albeit in a new setting within a lab.

The gameplay resumes, but it will be dark, so activate your flashlight to navigate. Shortly, you will uncover the second broken piece of the mirror. However, as you try to grasp it, you experience a fall.

Activate the Generator

To ascend back, you need to power up the lift. Visit the designated locations to activate four generators. Be on guard: hostile negative versions of yourself will attack after you trigger each generator. Use your weapon to fend them off.

After successfully activating all generators, operate the lift and ascend the stairs to claim the second broken piece.

Upon collecting this shard, you will once again find yourself in the room with the shattered mirror. Placing the second piece back into the mirror initiates another flashback, which reveals the harrowing moment of your father’s murder.

With that, you have effectively completed the Separation Anxiety mission in Black Ops 6. Note that no additional rewards are associated with this mission.
