Black Ops 6 New Zombies Map, Swords, and Three Standard Maps Released This Week

Exciting Updates in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 1 Reloaded

The highly anticipated mid-season update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is just around the corner, promising exhilarating additions for players. Having already launched with an array of competitive multiplayer maps and a pair of zombie experiences, Treyarch is set to elevate the gameplay further with the upcoming Season 1 Reloaded update.

Introducing Citadel of the Dead: A New Zombies Experience

One of the most thrilling features of the Season 1 Reloaded update is the brand-new zombie map, Citadelle des Morts. Here’s how the development team describes the setting:

The scene unfolds at dawn in Avalon, shrouded in overcast skies. A light mist rises from the damp terrain as players gather at a dilapidated castle. An unexpected reunion with a familiar ally confirms that S.A.M.’s intel is accurate, revealing that Franco—a notorious local crime boss—has taken center stage, with Krafft as his hostage.

However, the opportunity for catching up is fleeting. Dimensional breaches begin surfacing around the citadel, unleashing a significant zombie outbreak that threatens to engulf the entire team.

New Challenges Await Players

Adding to the excitement, a formidable new enemy known as the Doppelghast will be introduced. This two-headed creature is designed to challenge players with its swift and unpredictable movements, attacking with rapid melee assaults and ranged needle strikes. To help combat these undead foes, players will gain access to powerful new tools including:

  • Magic-infused claymore swords
  • The Vulture Aid Perk-a-Cola for improved loot drops
  • Three innovative GobbleGums
  • A host of other enhancements

Multiplayer Content Gains New Maps

On the multiplayer front, players can look forward to three exciting new maps available for free: Hacienda (6v6), Racket (offering both 2v2 and 6v6), and a festive variant of Nuketown (6v6). Additionally, the update will introduce seasonal-themed game modes and a unique Wildcard named Highroller, allowing players to equip an extra Scorestreak to their loadout for even more tactical versatility.
