Activision Announces Free Trial for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 continues to break records as it emerges as the series’ biggest launch to date. In an effort to attract even more players, Activision has unveiled a new free trial period. Gamers will gain access to a variety of exciting multiplayer features, including six competitive maps and multiple game modes, such as the popular Prop Hunt and engaging Zombie mode.
Multiplayer Maps and Modes
During the trial, players can explore the following maps:
- Racket
- Hacienda
- Extraction
- Hideout
- Heirloom
- Nuketown Holiday
These maps include selections from the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 1 Reloaded update, set to release on December 5. Alongside these vibrant locales, players will also have access to several classic modes:
- Team Deathmatch
- Hardpoint
- Domination
- Kill Confirmed
- Kill Order
- Prop Hunt
With new accounts joining the fray, Activision is implementing its advanced AI-driven anti-cheat system, designed to maintain a fair playing environment during this influx of players.
Zombie Experience
In addition to the multiplayer offerings, the trial will feature two Zombie maps:
- Liberty Falls
- Terminus
Both standard and Directed modes will be available, catering to varied gameplay styles. The Directed mode provides a more leisurely exploration of the intriguing supernatural narratives, allowing players to engage without the relentless pressures of zombie hordes and formidable bosses.
Trial Duration and Availability
The free trial will commence on December 13 and conclude on December 20. While Activision has yet to specify the platforms for this promotion, it is anticipated to include all available systems, including PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.
It is important to note, however, that the thrilling single-player campaign will not be part of this trial. Access to this storyline remains exclusive to players who purchase the game or subscribe to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass.
