This week, on October 2, 2024, the latest episode of The Challenge: Battle of the Eras aired its 7th installment. The episode featured a showdown between Era 1 and Era 4, following Era 1’s loss in the daily challenge.

After losing the daily challenge, Era 4 automatically found themselves in elimination, setting the stage for Michele and Kyland to perform the upcoming task. Meanwhile, the winners of Era 3, Jordan and Nia, had the responsibility of selecting which team would face Era 4. Their choices included Darrell and Tina (from Era 1) or Nehemiah and Aviv (from Era 2).

The selected competitors were from Era 1, leading to Darrell competing against Kyland and Tina facing Michele in a task called Boxster-Phobia. Ultimately, players from Era 1 were eliminated.

In episode 7 of The Challenge season 40, also known as Battle of the Eras, Era 4 lost the daily challenge, leading to their battle against Era 1 in the elimination task titled Boxster-Phobia.

During this challenge, the contestants had to navigate a structure while dodging sliding doors and rods. Each sliding door featured a number that the players needed in order to solve a code after exiting the structure to win the elimination round.

Michele was the first to make it out of the structure but had to re-enter after mistakenly getting the code wrong. When she returned to the box, Tina was already trying to solve the code. Ultimately, Kyland from Era 4 successfully deciphered the code first, leading to Tina’s elimination.

Michele later addressed the cameras about her victory over Tina in the recent elimination challenge:

“By fearlessly completing this and winning, I think I’ve set a tone for myself that I’m not somebody to be looked at as an easy win and now it’s time to get to the finals, and finally, finally, take a W,”Michele stated.

Viewers had mixed reactions to Michele’s victory over Tina in the most recent episode, feeling divided by Tina’s departure.
