“Bitch a** n**ga”: LeBron James allegedly blasts ref with NSFW message after no-call

In the LA Lakers’ 125-120 victory over the Washington Wizards on Wednesday, LeBron James vehemently expressed his frustration towards an official. This outburst took place in the first half of the game when James drove towards the basket and encountered contact from Deni Avdija. In response, James immediately directed his anger towards the referee on the baseline, using profanity to express his dissatisfaction with the no-call.

Despite regularly expressing his frustration with officials, the Lakers star had not previously taken it to the extreme that he did on Wednesday. A user known as “Legendz,”identified as “X,”managed to capture leaked audio of James allegedly making the following statement:

“Call the f**king foul. Bitch a** n**ga.”

Despite his aggressive play in the paint, LeBron James only had one attempt from the charity stripe in the first half. Similarly, he only had one 3-point attempt. However, after voicing his frustration with the referee, James saw an increase in free throw opportunities in the second half. He made the most of this, converting seven of nine attempts from the FT line.

The Lakers made a total of 29 attempts, with a nearly equal distribution between the two halves. In contrast, the Wizards only attempted 13 free throws and had a differential of +16.

LeBron James Receives Flagrant 1 After Alleged Confrontation with Referees

LeBron James’ anger reached its peak following the no-call on Deni Avdija. He confronted the Wizards forward for a second time and forcefully struck him in the face with his elbow. Initially called for an offensive foul, James’ actions were later deemed a Flagrant 1. Despite Avdija remaining in the game, he later left due to a migraine.

Despite being on the second night of a back-to-back, the Lakers faced tough competition from the Wizards, who made 18 of 42 3-pointers and did not make it an easy night for the Lakers. James appeared to be irritated by these circumstances.

Despite initial struggles, LeBron James and the Lakers regrouped and maintained control for the remainder of the game. James contributed 25 points, seven rebounds, nine assists, and three steals, shooting at an impressive 50.0% rate.

In the meantime, Anthony Davis had a total of 35 points, 18 rebounds, and three blocks, shooting 10 of 17. The pair made crucial contributions towards the end, as the Lakers managed to hold on to their 17-point lead in the fourth quarter, despite the Wizards’ attempt to close the gap to two points with seven minutes remaining.

In that span, Davis contributed six points and James added five, allowing the Lakers to secure a strong lead and secure the victory. This win improved LA’s record to 44-33, potentially aiding them in their progress in the conference standings. The Lakers currently hold the ninth spot in the West, trailing the sixth seed by two games, and the seventh and eighth seeds by one game.
