Big Brother Fans React: Houseguests Enjoy Krispy Kreme and Starbucks for Breakfast

The latest episode of Big Brother season 26 premiered on Thursday, September 26, 2024, featuring the dramatic double evictions of Leah and Angela. Following the episode, the Live Feeds on Paramount+ showcased Makensy proudly holding the Head of Household (HoH) key, signifying her victory in the HoH competition.

As week 11 progressed with Makensy maintaining her role as the HoH, other houseguests expressed their disappointment over missing the chance to take control. Cam lamented that it felt typical for him not to win, despite making it close to the finish line. With only five contestants left, speculation grew about whom Makensy would target during the upcoming eviction.

Eventually, Live Feeds revealed that Makensy had nominated Rubina and Kimo for eviction. As the finale approached, houseguests reflected on their time in the house and their hopes of making it to the finale. After weeks together, they were treated to Krispy Kreme donuts and Starbucks coffee for breakfast, prompting reactions from Big Brother fans on X.

“Starbucks and Krispy Kreme that’s crazy,”a fan wrote.

“They want them high on sugar. LOL!!!!!”another fan commented.

“Dang, not they got them donuts,”a netizen tweeted.

Reactions from different Big Brother enthusiasts varied regarding the producers’ choice of food offerings.

“Wow, that’s a treat! Can’t wait to see how they enjoy it!”one user reacted.

“Production saw Stans glazing this season so hard, they rewarded them with Krispy Kreme for being boring,”a person commented.

“I think it’s apology food because they haven’t restocked groceries since coming back in from Jankie,”another fan wrote.

However, some fans felt that production had gone overboard, especially considering that contestants from prior seasons didn’t receive such luxuries.

“Not fair. Just because the cook (Leah) left the show, they should be made to suffer like contestants in old seasons. They are being rewarded for what?”another user tweeted.

“Why did they treat this cast so well? They have spoiled them all season. All they did was sleep and use the veto every week,”a person reacted.

“Oh, I know other seasons are P*SSED. I’ve never seen houseguests get Starbucks in the house before, let alone Krispy Kreme,”another netizen wrote.

Big Brother Season 26 Cast Members Encounter Electrical Issues

Upon the resumption of the Live Feeds, cast members discussed several electrical issues they were facing. Some appliances were malfunctioning, there was no hot water, and specific areas of the house experienced power outages.

“My shower was kinda cold too. I was like, why is it not getting hot?”Makensy said.

Kimo mentioned that he also experienced cold water while showering. Later, they gathered in the dining area to enjoy the provided Krispy Kreme donuts and Starbucks coffee. Rubina informed Kimo that they had blueberry, chocolate chip, and regular donuts, and she expressed gratitude to production for supplying gluten-free options.

The houseguests joked that their breakfast only needed a banana to become an ideal “conference food”option. Later, Makensy exclaimed:

“I’ve missed real, like, coffee.”

As a solution to the lighting problems, the houseguests were provided with battery-operated lanterns, and they hoped for water heaters for more comfortable showers. In a lighter moment, they assigned ship names to all the pairs on the memory wall. “Tuckina”was chosen for Tucker and Rubina’s showmance, while “Angelimo”was designated for Angela and Kimo. They dubbed Cam and Makensy as “Camsey,”and T’Kor and Kenney were called “T’Ken.”

Big Brother airs every Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday on CBS.
