Big Brother Fans Outraged as Makensy Nominates Leah for Elimination

Season 26 of Big Brother aired its latest episode on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. The episode highlighted Leah’s regret for not utilizing her Head of Household (HoH) power in the previous week to target Chelsie. Leah acknowledged that Chelsie was a formidable player capable of manipulating the game to her advantage.

During a candid conversation with Rubina, Leah revealed that although she had a solid rapport with the current HoH, Makensy, she felt uneasy about Makensy’s close relationship with Chelsie, who could easily sway game decisions in her favor. Once Chelsie learned of Leah’s honesty, she seized the opportunity to persuade Makensy to nominate Leah for eviction.

As a result, after securing the Power of Veto (PoV), Makensy removed Kimo from the block and substituted Leah as the replacement nominee. Leah, blindsided and upset, found herself alongside Angela, the second nominee in the upcoming eviction.

Big Brother fans criticized Makensy for her decision to target Leah, who was an ally. Many felt that she had jeopardized her game, especially after the Live Feeds, available on Paramount+, revealed Chelsie and Cam’s plans to dethrone Makensy the following week. Social media users took to X to express their outrage at Makensy for placing her trust in the wrong players.

“MJ sorry but you should have never put Leah up sadly she is going home because of you It’s over,”a fan expressed.

“MJ ruined her own game. Her fighting for Leah so hard after nominating her (dummy) has now sketched out Cam and Chelsie. The downfall of Makensy has to be studied. Worst fumble in modern BB history,”commented another fan.

“MJ renominating Leah is a decision that will cost her $750,000,”tweeted a netizen.

Fans of Big Brother warned that Makensy would live to regret her decision to turn against Leah by siding with Chelsie.

“MJ choosing to stick by Chelsie over Leah who’s been loyal to her all season has got to be the dumbest move. Chelsie is going to take you out in that double eviction, MJ,”a user reacted.

“I’m being dead serious, I think MJ nominating Leah might be top 5 worst moves of all time. It’s not Marcellas/Lawon bad, but considering it’s F7 and that MJ is everyone’s target for the double, I think it’s worse than Howie and Faysal,”stated one person.

“MJ is filled with so much guilt and now she’s tanked her entire game for someone who’s literally targeting her as we speak,”wrote another fan.

“MJ is going to follow Leah right out the door tomorrow, isn’t she?”another user tweeted.

In the meantime, many Big Brother fans expressed their disappointment in witnessing Makensy’s betrayal of her long-time ally, Leah.

“I can barely watch MJ do this to Leah LMAOOOOOOO,”a netizen remarked.

“I know Leah is a big target for MJ’s resume, but I wish someone else had taken the shot at her, not MJ. Just like Chelsie and T’kor wouldn’t target each other, MJ and Leah shouldn’t have either. MJ is going to regret this move. But she did everyone else a solid by doing it,”another commenter shared.

Big Brother HoH Makensy Claims Nominating Leah Was Not Personal

After Leah confided in Rubina about her concerns regarding Makensy and Chelsie, Rubina seized the opportunity to inform Makensy of Leah’s concerns. This revelation led Makensy to inform Cam and Chelsie, who realized they could manipulate her decision for their advantage.

Previously, during a discussion with Cam, Makensy had expressed that while she wanted Leah out, she did not want to be the one to initiate that move. As such, she intended to target Angela during her reign and hoped to eventually go after Leah under someone else’s leadership. However, due to pressure from Cam and Chelsie, she ended up using her PoV on Kimo and proceeded to nominate Leah instead.

Although Makensy insisted that her decision was not personal but rather a strategic choice for her gameplay, Leah was disheartened by the outcome. Reflecting on her actions, Leah regretted targeting T’Kor instead of confronting Chelsie during her HoH reign.

Once the Live Feeds resumed, viewers could see Cam and Chelsie strategizing their next move, both determined to send Makensy packing. Cam noted:

“Makensy, once Leah is gone, is the biggest threat to our game. Now that she put Leah up and we convinced her to do it, Leah is in her ear about us.”

Chelsie concurred, hoping for Leah’s eviction, stating that if Leah did not leave, it would only empower “Makensy further.”
