Big Brother Fans Express Disappointment Over Final Five Contestants: “Officially Lost the Plot”

The latest episode of Big Brother Season 26 aired on Thursday, September 26, 2024, showcasing the double evictions of Leah and Angela. In the preceding episode, Chelsie and Cam persuaded Head of Household (HoH) Makensy to nominate Leah as Kimo’s replacement.

This difficult decision was made more challenging by Leah’s close friendship with Makensy. However, the HoH ultimately followed Chelsie’s strategy due to a fear of resistance later on. With the outcome seemingly predetermined, Leah was the first to exit the house.

Following Leah’s eviction, the remaining houseguests competed in both the HoH and Power of Veto (PoV) challenges. Chelsie claimed the HoH title and chose to nominate Angela and Kimo. After winning the PoV, Kimo saved himself from elimination. Chelsie subsequently replaced Kimo with Rubina but made it clear that her sights were set on Angela as her next target.

This led to Angela’s eviction as the second houseguest. With both Leah and Angela eliminated, Chelsie, Cam, Makensy, Kimo, and Rubina advanced to the final five. However, many fans expressed their dissatisfaction, arguing that the final group lacked worthy gameplay compared to those who had been evicted and took to X to voice their concerns.

“We have officially lost the plot with this final five!”a fan wrote.

“I’m almost speechless at how terrible this f5 is,”another fan commented.

“This five is so WEAK. Three don’t mind losing, and one got rid of her support group this week and is now going to cling to Chelsie to try to save herself. Makensy, you will go on the block if you don’t win HOH on Sunday,”a netizen tweeted.

Fans of Big Brother Season 26 noted that the final five was unexpected.

“No one can lie and say they predicted this F5 when this show started. Not a SINGLE one of you…”a user reacted.

“If you would’ve told me week one this would be the final 5, I wouldn’t believe you,”a person commented.

Most Big Brother fans, however, were unhappy with this outcome. Some remarked that the season would become “boring,”and others felt that none of them deserved to be so close to the finale.

“The season is literally over… this boring a** final 5,”another fan wrote.

“Genuinely one of the worst final 5’s there is. Three of them are completely useless. One of them is a puppet. And Chelsie is the only one who is actually deserving,”a user tweeted.

“One puppet master, two puppets: comp beast + comp flop, two theatre kids. Welcome to the Final 5!”another person reacted.

“The fact that boring a** Cam, Rubina, and Kimo are still in the house for the final 5 is criminal,”one netizen commented.

Chelsie’s Gameplay Shines in Big Brother Season 26

Since assuming her role as the HoH, Chelsie strategically worked to persuade Makensy to remove Kimo from the block and place Leah instead. She openly declared her intent to eliminate both Leah and Angela from the Big Brother house.

In a private chat with Cam, however, Chelsie revealed that her true target was Makensy. She planned to destabilize Makensy’s influence by eliminating her allies, Leah and Angela. By painting Leah as untrustworthy, Chelsie successfully swayed Makensy’s decision, resulting in Leah’s elimination.

After Leah’s exit, Chelsie zeroed in on Angela, her longstanding target. In a tense competition, Chelsie emerged victorious, becoming the new HoH. With her newfound authority, she declared to Cam and the others, “Angela goes out,” and everyone complied.

During the live elimination ceremony, Kimo, Cam, and Makensy voted unanimously to evict Angela. With a 3-0 vote, Angela joined Leah as the newest jury member. After her departure from the Big Brother house, Angela told host Julie Chen Moonves that the houseguests made the right choice, admitting she would have won had she stayed.

With Leah and Angela out of the game, Chelsie, Cam, Kimo, Rubina, and Makensy became the final five contestants in Big Brother Season 26.
