Big Brother 26: Leah Expresses Disappointment Over Chelsie and Kimo’s Unanimous Votes Leading to Her Elimination

In Big Brother Season 26, Episode 33, which aired on September 26, 2024, viewers witnessed the elimination of both Leah Peters and Angela Murray. Leah was taken aback when Makensy, her ally, nominated her and Angela instead of Kimo. As the Head of Household and winner of the Veto competition, Makensy made a contentious choice that left many houseguests dissatisfied.

During a September 27 interview with Entertainment Weekly, Leah shared her disappointment about being unanimously voted out by her peers.

“I still can’t believe I was voted out unanimously. It’s insane. I think that I’m most disappointed by Chelsie and Kimo’s votes because I gave them a really good deal prior to leaving that I would’ve kept them safe, and I honestly would’ve honored that,” Leah expressed.

Following these drastic events, only five contestants remain in the game: Cam Sullivan-Brown, Chelsie Baham, Kimo Apaka, Makensy Manbeck, and Rubina Bernabe. Previously eliminated contestants include Matt Hardeman, Lisa Weintraub, Kenney Kelley, Cedric Hodges, Brooklyn Rivera, Tucker Des Lauriers, Joseph Rodriguez, Quinn Martin, T’kor Clottey, Angela Murray, and Leah Peters.

Leah Holds No Grudges Against Makensy After Betrayal on Big Brother 26

Although Makensy chose to nominate Leah and Angela, Leah suggested that confusion caused by others made Makensy doubt their alliance with Angela. In Episode 32 of Big Brother, Makensy clinched the Veto, leading Chelsie to argue that it was the perfect opportunity to evict Leah since no one would suspect it. Leah maintained that she bore no resentment towards her friend.

“I think Makensy put me up because she let a lot of people get into her ear and convinced her that I was at some point going to target her in this game, which was never the case. I still love Makensy. There’s no hard feelings, and I really would’ve taken her to the end with me,” Leah stated during the interview.

Leah also expressed her belief that Chelsie has the best chance of winning Big Brother 26 from the remaining five contestants. She explained that Chelsie’s charm and eloquence made her “well insulated, well spoken,”which could carry her to the finals.

Moreover, Leah asserted that she wouldn’t want to rewind time or change any decisions she made, indicating that she had no regrets about her time as a houseguest on Big Brother. She noted that changing her approach could have led her home sooner, so there is little value in ruminating over what could have been.

Evil Ainsley Executes Double Eviction on Big Brother 26

A significant twist occurred in Big Brother when an AI version of the host, Julie Chen Moonves, appeared on the screen to alert the houseguests that they were in “grave danger,”indicating that the jurors had “gone missing.”The AI quickly transformed into an evil version named Ainsley, who expressed her extreme disappointment in the contestants and declared they would need to “pay the price.”

This shocking announcement led to an additional eviction later that day after the Veto competition. Following Leah’s unanimous eviction (4-0), the new Head of Household was determined to be Chelsie after correctly answering questions about AI Julie. This resulted in her nominating Kimo and Angela for the second eviction. Kimo subsequently won the Veto and saved himself from elimination.

In a tactical move, Chelsie chose to nominate Rubina instead, leading to another live vote where Kimo, Makensy, and Cam all opted to evict Angela from the house.
