Prioritize Your Challenges

Upon entering Battlefield 6, you’ll find a myriad of Challenges designed for new players. Many game elements—such as weapons, character skins, and class Training Paths—are unlocked through these Challenges. On your screen, adjacent to the Profile tab, lies the Challenges tab, which you’ll want to become familiar with.

This tab is structured in a way that will require your frequent visits, highlighting daily and weekly Challenges. Notably, some Challenges provide double XP tokens, while others reward you with aesthetic unlocks like camos and skins.

Among all the Challenges, those that unlock new class Training Paths—essentially different class variants—are particularly valuable. Access your Loadout menu to view the Challenge tied to each class’s secondary variant, which you can check readily with the push of a button. Be prepared—many of these Challenges necessitate reaching levels 20 or 23, so while you’re working towards that milestone, focus on the Initiation section of Challenges for quicker wins.

Keep Track of Your Progress

Continuing with the importance of Challenges, it’s advantageous to keep tabs on up to four active Challenges simultaneously. Your tracked Challenges provide a clear view of your current progress without having to navigate menus repeatedly. Plus, during the match, your tracked Challenges will be displayed along with others, allowing for efficient tracking of your accomplishments.

The end-of-match recap will also reveal how you fared in those Challenges, offering further insights into your performance. There’s no downside to filling all four tracked slots before jumping into a game. If you forget, the pause menu will allow you to manage your tracked Challenges, even in the middle of a match.

Utilize Double XP Tokens Wisely

Similarly, you can activate double XP and double hardware (weapon & vehicle) XP tokens during matches in Battlefield 6. It’s essential to note, though, that the countdown for these tokens runs in real-time. Therefore, if you step away for a moment, you’ll lose precious time on your tokens.

To maximize efficiency, activate your tokens just as the match commences, ensuring you make the most of your gaming session. Conquest and Breakthrough modes usually last around 30 minutes, making it ideal to start a 30-minute token at the outset, whereas shorter modes like Team/Squad Deathmatch and Domination align with 15-minute tokens.

Weapon Progression Can Be Challenging

It’s important to recognize that leveling up weapons in Battlefield 6 can feel somewhat tedious. Interestingly, leveling vehicles tends to be quicker, attributed to the fewer unlocks available. As you pursue attachments, the grind can be substantial, particularly given the sheer number of customization options.

Each weapon’s attachments are unlocked by earning Mastery Levels through gameplay, with your weapon’s level visible in the Loadout menu. The level needed for specific attachments is also indicated, but many players find the unlocking process to be somewhat monotonous. Ideally, a shared progression system for attachments could streamline this grind, much like the implementation used for camos.

Stay Safe from Exploding MCOMs

Veteran players will recall the changing dynamics regarding the effects of exploding MCOMs in Rush mode.
