Recently, a conspiracy theory involving Beyoncé has gained significant traction on social media, claiming that her song “Daughter”from the album *Cowboy Carter* serves as a potential confession regarding the murder of Cathy White.
Cathy White, a former publicist in the entertainment industry, tragically passed away at the young age of 29 due to a brain aneurysm on September 1, 2011. Her premature demise has since sparked various speculations.
A fresh TikTok conspiracy posits that Beyoncé is linked to Cathy White’s death. According to the theory, the lyrics from her anticipated 2024 track, “Daughter,”contain references to the alleged murder. TikTok user @allegedlyspeaking pointed out the following lines as implicative of a homicide:
“Your body laid out on these filthy floors/ Your bloodstains on my custom coutures/ Bathroom attendant let me right in/She was a big fan/I really tried to stay cool/But your arrogance disturbed my solitude/Now I ripped your dress and you’re all black and blue/Look what you made me do.”
This conspiracy further alleges that Cathy White was pregnant with Jay-Z’s child prior to her death, and that she died under suspicious conditions shortly after giving birth. It even goes as far as claiming that Beyoncé’s first daughter, Blue Ivy, is actually the product of White and Jay-Z’s relationship.
In simpler terms, the theory suggests that Beyoncé may have murdered White and adopted her child, Blue Ivy, as her own.
Claims of Faking Pregnancy to Conceal Alleged Murder of Cathy White
The theory also intertwines Beyoncé’s pregnancy timeline with the death of Cathy White. Beyoncé announced her pregnancy with Jay-Z on August 28, 2011, during the MTV VMAs.
Cathy White passed away just three days later, on September 1, 2011, while Blue Ivy was born on January 7, 2012.
The conspiracy implies that Beyoncé may have fabricated her pregnancy in 2011, asserting that Blue Ivy is actually Cathy White’s child with Jay-Z. The narrative continues by suggesting that White passed away after childbirth, shrouded in the alleged scandal.
To further validate this theory, TikTok user @allegedlyspeaking referenced a 2011 interview in which Beyoncé’s baby bump appeared to “deflate.”However, there is no substantial evidence to support the claim that her pregnancy was staged; it mainly derives from observations made by fans and internet users.
There were whispers in 2011 that Beyoncé had used a prosthetic belly and that she might have hired a surrogate. In a 2012 interview with PEOPLE, Beyoncé addressed these speculations:
“That was crazy. It wasn’t hurtful, it was just crazy. Where did they come up with this?”
Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, also reacted to the pregnancy rumors in an interview with People Magazine, expressing her dismay:
“I thought it was very unfair and very cruel that someone would think that someone would be that diabolical to keep up a charade like that for nine months. As a mother, it was painful for me to hear the crazy rumors. And I even had people ask me, which was so ridiculous.”
In the same interview, Beyoncé explained that the fabric of her outfit created the illusion of her baby bump shrinking:
“It was a fabric that folded—does fabric not fold? Oh my gosh, so stupid.”
Since the birth of Blue Ivy, Beyoncé and Jay-Z expanded their family with the birth of twins, Rumi and Sir, in 2017.
Accusations Against Jay-Z and Diddy Regarding Cathy White’s Death
American singer Jaguar Wright recently leveled accusations against Jay-Z and Sean “Diddy”Combs, alleging they were aware of the circumstances surrounding Cathy White’s death. Her assertions align with the aforementioned conspiracy theories, although they lack factual support.
In a recent podcast, Jaguar Wright claimed that Cathy White died a day after allegedly informing Jay-Z about her pregnancy with his child, hinting at potential foul play.
“Was it an aneurysm, Diddy? You and Jay-Z, down in Vegas in town with Claudia, why don’t you just talk about Kathy?”Wright remarked.
This comment surfaced amidst Diddy facing legal issues in New York related to charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. Claudia Jordan, mentioned by Wright, promptly denied these claims on Instagram.
“I’m sick of this sh*t!! When and where did she ‘make this announcement’? And she [Cathy White] came to my house a few times during the months we hung out in 2010 and she was never pregnant around me!”
Jordan continued:
“Matter of fact, we drank, gambled together, and played craps in Vegas (no Jay-Z) and went to an amusement park with her then-boyfriend that was NOT Jay-Z. And she NEVER told me anything about her and him being anything. I’m so sick of people telling this story!!”
As of now, neither Jay-Z nor Beyoncé has commented on Cathy White’s death, which is generally believed to be due to a brain aneurysm as reported in 2011.
