Sinner managed to break Dimitrov’s serve twice in each set and successfully saved the only breakpoint on his own serve, securing a 6-3, 6-1 victory.
After securing a victory, Jannik Sinner is set to surpass Carlos Alcaraz in the ATP Rankings and claim the World No. 2 position for the first time in his career. The success of the young Italian in Miami has delighted tennis fans, who have extended their congratulations to him on this milestone.

Jannik Sinner continues dominant season with third title at Miami Open 2024
In 2024, Jannik Sinner won his 13th ATP Tour title and third of the year at the Miami Open. Throughout the tournament, the 22-year-old only lost one set and defeated Andrea Vavassori, Tallon Griekspoor, Christopher O’Connell, Tomas Machac, Daniil Medvedev, and Grigor Dimitrov on his path to victory.
In 2024, the Italian has proven to be the top player on the men’s side. He achieved his first Grand Slam victory at the Australian Open earlier this year by defeating Botic van de Zandschulp, Jesper De Jong, Sebastian Baez, Karen Khachanov, Andrey Rublev, defending champion Novak Djokovic, and Daniil Medvedev.
