Becky Lynch sends warning to Rhea Ripley after crashing interview

The hype for WWE’s Road to WrestleMania XL is intensifying as the two-night premium live event approaches, with only five days left. Emotions are running high following a public brawl between Becky Lynch and Rhea Ripley earlier today.

During an interview on The MMA Hour today, The Man conversed with Ariel Helwani. Later on the same show, The Eradicator made an appearance as a guest. However, things took a turn when Lynch stormed onto the set after her daughter was mentioned, resulting in a brief altercation before the WrestleMania XL opponents were separated. Following the incident, Lynch took to X (formerly Twitter) and issued a direct warning to Judgment Day member, stating that she will leave Lincoln Financial Field with Ripley’s arm and her title.

“Thanks for giving me a target, Mami. I’m coming for your arm and the #WomensWorldTitle at WrestleMANia,”Becky Lynch wrote.

Despite WWE not making an official announcement, both Lynch and Ripley are advertised to appear on tonight’s episode of RAW on both the Barclays website and the official RAW website. This suggests that they may be involved in matches or segments on the show.

Former WWE Superstar recognized Becky Lynch’s star potential early on

Since signing her WWE developmental contract in April 2013, Becky Lynch has become one of the most prominent figures in the history of the industry.

After beginning her career in NXT, Lynch’s persona transformed into The Man as she achieved success on the main roster. She joined the main roster in July 2015, around the same time that Dutch Mantell ended his time with WWE as Zeb Colter.

During an episode of his Story Time with Dutch podcast, the ex-manager of Jack Swagger revealed that he recognized Lynch’s potential from the beginning. He remembered how she fearlessly challenged the traditional portrayal of women under Vince McMahon and remained open to learning as a newcomer, never causing any conflicts with others.

“I could tell then she had it! Because it’s the way sometimes, it’s not what they do in the ring, it’s also what they do in presenting themselves outside the ring. And leave all the Vince stuff out, but the girl was willing to learn the business. Talking to the right guys, talking to them… she didn’t ruffle any feathers and that’s what newcomers should do, they should seek knowledge from everybody. I think Becky did a great job at that,”Dutch Mantell said. [From 1:02:00 to 1:02:37]
