On Friday, October 4, the official social media account of HYBE Entertainment unveiled the teaser for the exciting Dalmajung BTS X MU:DS collaboration. The management agency for the K-pop sensation, BTS, has teamed up with the National Museum Cultural Foundation (NMCF) to roll out the latest merchandise collection designed specifically for BTS fans.
This third installment of Dalmajung BTS merchandise will feature a collaboration with the renowned product brand ‘MU:DS’ from the National Museum. The initial two versions of Dalmajung BTS products were successfully launched in 2021 and 2022.
The recent announcement from HYBE has sparked immense excitement among BTS fans, prompting an outpouring of admiration for the artistic pieces online. One user on X expressed their enthusiasm:
“I’M LOSING IT THESE ARE SO BEAUTIFUL”
Numerous responses from the BTS fandom showcased their love for the new merch. One fan claimed that the Dalmajung BTS series is their absolute favorite merchandise, while another applauded the K-pop group for their cultural engagement.
“Dalmajung is my favorite merch line ever… I want all of these items… I’m so excited for this…” – a fan wrote.
“These are just beautiful… Wow you really want all my money, huh?!” – commented another fan.
“See, this is also what I mean when I said @BTS_twt are unique! Merch collaboration with the National Museum Foundation of Korea – who else has this kind of level of cultural appreciation and influence, with a fandom that embraces similar values?” – an X user remarked.
Fans also noted that the new Dalmajung BTS X MU:DS collaboration feels “Namjoon coded.”BTS leader RM, also known as Namjoon, is known for his passion for art and has previously donated 100 million KRW to Korea’s National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in 2020.
“Since the group is led by a certified art aficionado, this collaboration is truly precious. The one who made headlines with his dedication to the arts, a 100 million Korean won donation to South Korea’s National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, and frequently shares photos of himself” – expressed another fan.
“Thank you for creating practical and relevant merchandise such as an incense stick holder that can be used to chase away evil magic. ARMY, you know what to do.” – wrote another user on X.
“I absolutely NEED this! It’s so perfectly Namjoon coded and gorgeous—captures his vibe completely” – stated a fan.
“Okay, my grandchildren will definitely inherit these from me” – remarked an X user.
