“BBL Drizzy Halloween Costume” – Internet Buzzes Over Fashion Nova’s Trending Release
Fashion Nova has recently caught attention after launching their Halloween costume that appears to be inspired by the popular BBL Drizzy joke. This joke originated months ago when Willonius Hatcher released an AI-generated song of the same name, and now the fashion brand has turned the entire concept into a costume.
This song emerged from rumors that Drake, often referred to as Drizzy, underwent a “Brazilian Butt Lift,” abbreviated as “BBL.” It gained traction particularly amid the rap feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar.
The costume featured by Fashion Nova, titled the BBL Drizzy Halloween costume, highlights a model dressed in pants complemented with an accessory designed to mimic lifted glutes.
Once the image circulated on social media, it prompted a wave of amusing reactions. One user on X, @IWuzLikeDamn, shared the BBL Drizzy costume with a comment that said:
“Y’all…. @FashionNova got a BBL Drizzy Halloween costume. I’m on the floor.”
The post garnered over 1.6 million views in mere hours, prompting various entertaining comments:
“He is having a ball. He is cracking tf up,” wrote one social media user.
“Not the ‘Papi’, hair clips & b*tt hanging out with the prayer hands all in one lol,” added another.
“Nah this is actually insane lmaooo,” stated another user.
“YA’LL THIS IS HILARIOUS,” commented an internet user on X.
“That sounds hilarious! Fashion Nova always knows how to make a statement with their costumes,” said one individual.
“The things they put this poor model through,” joked another.
Rick Ross and Kendrick Lamar Reference BBL Drizzy Joke in Their Diss Tracks
While Fashion Nova has taken the BBL Drizzy joke to new heights, it’s essential to note that Rick Ross and Kendrick Lamar have also referenced this joke in their diss tracks aimed at Drake.
Rick Ross’s track, Champagne Moments, released on April 13, 2024, features lines like:
“I know you got your Dockers on with no underwear, white boy. Yeah, you had that surgery, that six-pack gone. That’s why you wearin’ that funny sh*t at your show, you can’t hide it.”
Additionally, Kendrick Lamar made a quip regarding the surgery in his diss track for Drake, Euphoria, with the lyrics:
“Yeah, my first one like my last one, it’s a classic, you don’t have one, Let your core audience stomach that, then tell ’em where you get your abs from.”
Interestingly, the Fashion Nova accessory does not feature the BBL Drizzy name or directly reference Drake. Instead, it is advertised as the “BBL Booty Butt Pad Costume Accessory.”
Once Fashion Nova unveiled their Halloween collection, social media users swiftly pinpointed the BBL accessory and noted that the model bore a resemblance to Drake.
Moreover, many users commented on the hair clips, which somewhat resemble a photo of Drake.
As of now, Drake has yet to comment on the fashion accessory, and Fashion Nova has not responded to the public’s reactions. Nonetheless, reactions continue to proliferate across social media regarding the Halloween costume.
