Battlefield 6 PC Specifications Revealed: Minimum to Ultra++ Requirements

Battlefield 6: Comprehensive PC System Requirements Announced Right Before Launch

The countdown to the official release of Battlefield 6 is nearing its end, with just two days remaining. In anticipation, the development team has unveiled the complete system specifications for PC players, detailing the requirements across various performance tiers from Minimum to Ultra++ settings.

Enhanced Performance Focused on Gameplay

Since the introduction of Battlefield 4 in 2008, the franchise has utilized DICE’s powerful Frostbite engine. For Battlefield 6, the development collective known as Battlefield Studios (which includes DICE, Ripple Effect, Motive, and Criterion) has prioritized performance over flashy visual features such as ray tracing. This commitment aims to deliver smoother gameplay experiences.

Notable System Requirements Breakdown

The developers have stated that the game does not require any upscalers up until the Ultra++ preset. For optimal performance, players are encouraged to utilize NVIDIA DLSS Super Resolution for achieving 4K gaming at 144 frames per second using high settings. Remarkably, to reach 4K at 240 frames per second on Ultra settings, Multi Frame Generation will be necessary with the GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card. Currently, no AMD counterpart is specified for the demanding Ultra++ setting.
