Battlefield 2042 is one of the worst rated games on Steam. The number of negative reviews is huge

Battlefield 2042 can boast of a not very honorable achievement. New EA and DICE products have garnered and continue to receive dire reviews on Steam.

At the time of this posting, the latest Battlefield had 42,661 reviews of the Valve platform, of which 10,771 were positive and 31,890 were negative. As a result, a patch for the game with a “mostly negative” rating appeared in the title. This makes it the 9th worst rated product available on Steam so far. And the number of negative reviews continues to grow.

There are many reasons for the players’ dissatisfaction. The main ones are numerous server problems and poor optimization. In addition, negative perception of the product consists of a bunch of mistakes and shortcomings that tire the players and actually interfere with the enjoyment of the game.

However, Battlefield 2042 has a few more fundamental issues. This is a moderately satisfactory progression system, few weapons at launch, outdated interface and poor balance on some maps, to name just a few of the game’s problems.

Battlefield games have often had very bad releases and took only a few months to shine. I don’t think there was so much criticism. Hopefully DICE will bring more fixes soon.
