As you embark on your adventure in Avowed, you’ll encounter various references to the Party Camp feature. However, information on how to access this crucial aspect may be sparse. Throughout your journey, visiting the Party Camp will be essential for critical upgrades—encompassing both weapons and armor, as well as weapon enchantments. This guide details the necessary steps to effectively use the Party Camp in Avowed.
Establishing Party Camps in Avowed

Finding Party Camp Locations
In Avowed, you won’t have the freedom to place Party Camps wherever you wish. Each region features a predetermined number of camps situated in specific areas. Players can discover these Party Camps while exploring the diverse environments of the Living Lands. The initial region, Dawnshore, contains four Party Camp locations.
Each camp is identifiable by a prominent Adra block, resembling those found at significant locations throughout the game. These Adra blocks emit a glowing purple aura, making them visible from a distance.
To easily track the number of Party Camp locations in each region, access your map and press X (or the equivalent on PC).This action will display a menu on the right side, providing an overview of current locations, including how many you’ve located and how many remain undiscovered.
Setting Up Your Party Camp

To set up a Party Camp in Avowed, interact with the marked Adra block. This action establishes the camp for your current visit. You must repeat this process each time you arrive on foot, but there is no cost associated with this setup.
A notable advantage of creating a Party Camp is that it becomes a fast-travel point. Fast-traveling to a Party Camp automatically activates all camp stations, streamlining your gameplay experience.
Dawnshore Party Camp Sites

Dawnshore offers four distinct camp locations, ensuring that help is always close at hand. While unlocking fast travel diminishes the urgency to frequent these camps, they are particularly helpful during your initial explorations of each region.
Utilizing Party Camps in Avowed

When at a Party Camp, players can engage in various activities, including:
- Weapon and Armor Upgrades
- Enchanting Unique Weapons
- Constructing the Totem Shrine
- Changing Companion Outfits
- Accessing the Party Chest
- Engaging in Special Companion Interactions
Upgrading Weapons and Armor
To enhance your weapons and armor, visit the upgrade station located beneath the small tent to the right of the Party Stash. Here, players can upgrade their core chest armor pieces, although foot and arm armor are excluded from upgrades.
Items can receive multiple upgrade tiers, and each tier features three quality levels that demand various basic crafting materials. Moving to the next rarity tier will require the use of Adra and its variations.
You can also create upgrade materials at the upgrade station by pressing RT to toggle between upgrade and crafting menus.
Enchanting Unique Weapons

Each unique weapon in Avowed comes equipped with a base enchantment. Players may choose to upgrade or change this enchantment once per weapon by visiting the Enchantment station. Currently, players have the option of either upgrading the existing enchantment or replacing it with a single alternate choice.
Gathering a variety of materials is essential to perform enchantments—these can be sourced from defeated enemies and treasures scattered throughout the game world.
Companion Interactions

Whenever you notice a small companion symbol with an exclamation mark on the lower left side of your HUD, it’s a cue that one of your companions wishes to converse with you at the Party Camp. Be sure to check in with that companion during your next visit for unique interactions that often relate to your recent decisions in the game.
