To uncover the truth about their resurrection, consulting a Watcher becomes a pivotal step in the quest titled “An Untimely End.”The path to the Watcher, perched high on a mountain, may seem intricate, but fear not; this guide will simplify the process.
Finding the Watcher During An Untimely End in Avowed
Once the “An Untimely End”quest is activated, exit the City of Paradis through the eastern passage into the Dawnshore’s Southern Embrace. As you navigate toward the quest marker, you may encounter random adversaries on Usher’s Hand hill. Feel free to bypass them, maintaining your course to the Watcher’s location.
Locating the Shrine to Woedica
Your journey will lead you beneath an imposing doorway into an area known as the Rise. As you continue along the path, you will discover an entrance to a cave. Rather than following the main route, redirect your attention to the left where climbable rocks await, leading you to an upper terrain. Once ascended, traverse the bridge and veer right until you arrive at the Shrine of Woedica.
Crossing the Bridge at the Shrine to Woedica
At this juncture, you will find the bridge is in ruins, rendering a simple jump impossible. Shift your gaze to the left of the bridge to spot the Eye of Rymrgand plants sprouting from the rocks. Collect these plants, open your weapon wheel, and select them to freeze the water between the bridge sections, allowing for an easy crossing.
Arriving at Watcher Runyd’s House
Following your successful bridge crossing, meander through the winding paths until you reach Runyd’s House, located at the trail’s end. Upon entering, you will meet the Watcher, who will shed light on the entity connected to the protagonist. This session will enrich your understanding of your survival journey and set the stage for completing objective B of the quest “An Untimely End”in Avowed.
