According to Bank of America’s Wamsi Mohan, recent observations highlight that the average shipping time for the iPhone 17 Pro stands at approximately 13 days, while the Pro Max variant has a slightly longer waiting period of around 20 days. This information was outlined in Mohan’s recent note.
Additional insights provided by BofA include:
- The availability of iPhone 17 models on carrier websites in the United States exceeds that found on Apple’s official site.
- On Apple’s platform, the Pro model shows a lead time of 2-3 weeks compared to a 6-day average with carriers, while the Pro Max also reflects a similar lead time of 2-3 weeks, compared to a 13-day average for carriers.
The impressive reception of the new iPhone series has been a significant factor in Apple achieving optimal performance, as evidenced by the company’s record third quarter results. Recent data from Omdia suggests that Apple’s iPhone shipments improved by 4% year-over-year during Q3 2025, marking the strongest performance for Apple in this quarter to date.
