Attitude Era WWE star says he “almost died” this week; gets emotional sharing unfortunate health update
According to his social media account, a former WWE star from the Attitude Era has shared a harrowing experience he recently faced in the hospital. Despite the severity of the situation, the star considers himself lucky to have survived.
Despite the passage of time, Mideon remains a well-known name among fans of the Attitude Era. He is most remembered for his outlandish gimmicks and was a prominent member of the Ministry of Darkness during this period. Alongside the legendary star The Undertaker, Mideon was responsible for carrying out various tasks, including kidnapping and recruiting other wrestlers into the faction.
Despite leaving WWE in 2001, Mideon has continued to make sporadic appearances, including a memorable moment at Survivor Series where he participated in The Phenom’s retirement ceremony as a tribute. Additionally, he was a member of the Undertaker’s backstage faction, the Bone Street Krew, during the 1990s.
The star has revealed that he recently spent a week in the hospital and came close to losing his life. Mideon also disclosed that he was hospitalized for eight days, including 48 hours in the ICU. While he initially believed a car accident might have been the cause, it turns out that his body was the one struggling. It began with a bowel obstruction, but the situation quickly deteriorated.
“Starterted who stomach pain that was supposed to bowel obstruction then went in to surgery and found shredded appendix a herinea and golf size blades stone that tore my entire stomach up which is weird because I had gall balder removal years ago! My blood sugar should be 90 to 120 mine was over 700. The reason for this is to tell your family and God you love them because It might be the last! I love you all and want you to be happy so take care of yourself and after the worst week of my life.”
The ex-WWE wrestler expressed his gratitude for being alive and reiterated his belief in this.

Despite never reaching main-event status, Mideon gained recognition during his tenure with the Ministry. He was known for his unconventional character, often appearing unclothed and frightening other WWE stars with his antics.

He won the European title once and was a two-time holder of the tag team titles with Henry Godwin.
