In the captivating world of Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2, players are tasked with uncovering numerous secrets that lie hidden throughout the game. Your character, Fabien, embarks on a journey filled with challenges—from tracking down elusive killers to collecting crosses and solving intricate puzzles. The thrill of discovery awaits around every corner.
Upon your arrival at the Atrium, invited by the enigmatic Ysabella, you may find yourself confronted with a puzzle that stands between you and your next mission. Fortunately, the clues to unlock the next stage of your quest are concealed in plain sight.
How to Solve the Atrium Puzzle
As you enter Ysabella’s domain in the Atrium, you’ll come across a striking display of four LCD paintings adorning the walls. Though they may initially appear ordinary, utilizing your vampiric abilities will reveal hidden symbols: your hand’s symbol, a rose, a water droplet, and an ankh.
To progress through the mysterious door at the rear of the room, you must interact with these paintings in a specific sequence. Successfully engaging with them in the correct order will erase the symbols from view and unlock the door, enabling you to venture deeper into the building to meet Ysabella.
Collecting the Puzzle Hint

Before diving headfirst into the puzzle, consider seeking guidance from one of Ysabella’s Blood Dolls, Verona. You might recognize her from an earlier chapter in Fabien’s story, as she’s located in the hallway to your left.
In this hallway, elegantly styled booths line the walls, with Verona lying almost unconscious in one of them. Though her state may leave her somewhat incoherent, engaging her in conversation can yield valuable hints.
During your dialogue with Verona, she will praise Ysabella’s artistry, dubbing her “the greatest artist that ever did live.”This interaction will jog Fabien’s memory, prompting both of you to realize that the key to the puzzle lies within Ysabella’s artistic expressions scattered throughout the Atrium. Notably, no clan abilities will assist you in retrieving this information.
Atrium Puzzle Solution
With the insight gained from your conversation with Verona, you can now confidently tackle the Atrium puzzle. Approach each of the three paintings in the area using your vampiric senses to uncover the markings hidden within.
Your observations will reveal that one painting features two ankhs, another displays three roses, and the final one contains four water droplets. These unique symbols point to the solution you seek.
Fabien will hint at the first clue upon entering, alluding to the symbol on your hand. To successfully interact with the paintings, follow this sequence:
- Symbol on your hand
- Ankh
- Rose
- Water Droplet
By engaging with the paintings in this precise order, you will unlock the door at the back of the room, paving the way for your much-anticipated encounter with Ysabella.
Stay vigilant and ensure that your vampire abilities are appropriately equipped, as the tension in the Atrium is about to rise.
