Mother Jago has valuable information, though; she knows that her book has been taken to the druid’s castle located within the Casterfell Woods.Your mission is to navigate this expansive castle and retrieve the book.
Finding Mother Jago’s Book in Atomfall
Before we delve into the specifics of locating Mother Jago’s book, it’s crucial to pinpoint the exact location of the Druid’s Castle. This castle resides in the southwestern quadrant of the Casterfell Woods map.
This area is regarded as off-limits and teeming with aggressive druids who will attack on sight. Therefore, prior to your expedition, ensure you are well-equipped with ample ammunition and throwable items such as Molotov Cocktails and Nail Bombs.
I highly recommend acquiring a Bow, which can be obtained from most druids. Using a Bow allows you to eliminate enemies silently from a distance, thus minimizing your chances of attracting unwanted attention as you approach the castle entrance.
The entrance to the Druid’s Castle is quite prominent, featuring a massive door adorned with a blue symbol. Once inside, you’ll be pleased to find that Mother Jago’s book is relatively close to the entrance.
Locating Mother Jago’s Book
Upon entering the Druid’s Castle, your first task is to locate the Castle Key, which is essential for unlocking the door that leads to Mother Jago’s book.
You can find the Castle Key within the kitchen area, easily accessed by taking the first left after entering the castle. Look for the key resting on a shelf in this kitchen space.
Once the Castle Key is in your possession, proceed to the castle’s central room, where you will encounter a large chair and a lifeless body.
Behind the chair lies a secret passageway that requires the Castle Key for access. Approach the mechanism to the right of this door and use the Castle Key to unlock it.
Once through the secret door, navigate to the room on your right. There, you will discover a sizable table adorned with candles, on which Mother Jago’s book sits next to the candles.
Quest Rewards
Having retrieved Mother Jago’s book on Herbalism, your next objective is to return it to her. Make your way back to Mother Jago at the Old Mine and hand over the book.
She will express her gratitude for your efforts and reward you with 3x Training Stimulants. Furthermore, she will offer to assist you in escaping the town, potentially leading to a unique outcome in your game experience.
Additionally, a new lead will become available within the Mother Jago questline, where she will present you with an offering for the Speaking Cave. This offering is particularly advantageous, as it grants you safety from any outlaws while you are in possession of it.
