Atomfall: Comprehensive Guide to Growth Stimulant Leads

In the immersive world of Atomfall, players will often stumble upon handwritten notes that unlock intriguing questlines and lead to new discoveries. One notable example is a note revealing that a woman ventured into the Medical Tunnels with a mysterious substance known as the Growth Stimulant.

Finding this note initiates the Growth Stimulant questline, which tasks players with delving into the Medical Tunnels in search of this enigmatic substance. Although the quest is relatively short, the challenges it presents can be quite intricate.

This comprehensive guide aims to assist you through this quest.

Navigating to the Medical Tunnels

The lead regarding the Growth Stimulant indicates, “Dr. Langley went mad. She took the stimulant from me and ran into the tunnels.” This crucial hint clearly points you towards the Medical Tunnels.

However, the note omits vital details: the tunnels are situated beneath the Medical facility located in the Interchange. Consult your map (or refer to the accompanying image) to pinpoint the exact location of the Medical Tunnels.

To gain access to the Medical Tunnels, players need to power up Data Store A and Data Store C using Atomic Batteries. Data Store A can be accessed through the Interchange door in Wyndham Village, while Data Store C is accessible via the Interchange entrance in Slatten Dale.

Another route to the Medical Tunnels is by speaking with Dr. Holder, who can be found beneath St. Katherine’s Church. Following his quest will guide you directly to the required tunnels.

As you explore, exercise caution; this area is densely infected, and it’s advisable to craft Strange Tonics to mitigate damage. You can learn the Strange Tonic recipe by undertaking Mother Jago’s quest and locating it in the castle of Casterfell Woods.

Locating the Growth Stimulant

Once you gain entry to the Medical Tunnels, you will encounter a narrow crawlspace straight ahead. Be ready, as a few Thralls await on the other side.

  1. Take a right after passing the green trailer and descend further into the Medical Tunnels.
  2. Dash past a towering enemy plant, where you will find an opening that leads deeper.
  3. Next, veer to your left.
  4. Ascend a set of stone stairs that you will come across.

Upon reaching the top of the stairs, you will discover Dr. Langley lying on the floor with the Growth Stimulant nearby. Loot her for additional details and collect the Growth Stimulant.

Although this concludes the Growth Stimulant lead, it seamlessly intertwines with Mother Jago’s storyline, revealing further quests ahead.

Delivering the Growth Stimulant to Mother Jago

After acquiring the Growth Stimulant, eerie voices will prompt you to return the substance to Mother Jago in Casterfell Woods.

You can locate Mother Jago at the Old Mine in the northeastern part of Casterfell Woods. Landmark elements include a small house marked with a sign saying, “Welcome. Open to trades on all items. No stealing!”

Approach Mother Jago and present her with the Growth Stimulant. She will express her gratitude, indicating its significance for escaping the quarantine.

After handing over the stimulant, the next segment of Mother Jago’s quest will commence, providing you an offering related to the Speaking Cave.

Completing the Offering at the Speaking Cave

Luckily, Mother Jago will mark the Speaking Cave’s location on your map, allowing you to set a waypoint and venture there. Thanks to the offering she provided, you won’t face any enemies during your exploration of the cave.

At the end of the cave, you will encounter a stick statue and a bowl placed below it. Interact with the bowl and select the option to complete the offering, thereby finishing this segment of the quest.

Subsequently, return to Mother Jago (who will now be waiting nearby) and inform her that the offering has been completed. Successfully completing this task allows players the opportunity to unlock a unique ending in Atomfall.
