The latest on Trae Young’s injury and recovery
On Feb 23, while playing against the Toronto Raptors, Trae Young sustained a ligament tear in his left pinky finger. He then had surgery four days later to treat the injury during the Hawks’ game.
Despite experiencing discomfort, he continued to play and complete the game, resulting in 11 points on 2-of-6 shooting and seven assists. The exact timing of his injury is still unknown.
Last week, Trae Young began performing small finger motion exercises as part of his rehabilitation process.
