“At the end of the day, the day gone end”: GloRilla opens up about shooting her shot at Damian Lillard
Is there a romantic connection between Milwaukee Bucks’ Damian Lillard and Memphis-based rapper Gloria Hallelujah Woods, who goes by the stage name GloRilla? During a recent interview on Shannon Sharpe’s podcast, the rapper was questioned about their relationship, but she adeptly evaded giving a straightforward response.
Before, GloRilla had shared her admiration for Damian Lillard. However, at this year’s All-Star Game, she took a photo with the star and shared it on X along with the caption:
“Who n***a dis is? Cause I want him.”
She further stated:
“Whoever she is can’t whoop me so I really dgaf.”
Sharpe brought up the possibility of GloRilla making a flirtatious move towards Dame during the Club Shay Shay podcast, comparing it to a “Steph Curry shot,”and inquired about its success.
The artist avoided answering the question.
“The halfcourt shot? You know, at the end of the day, the day gon’ end.”
Back in March, TMZ inquired with Damian Lillard about GloRilla’s attempt to make a move. Lillard’s response was:
“Man, shout-out to GloRilla, man. No comment, my brother.”
Despite being traded to Milwaukee in October, Lillard has been facing difficult challenges. Soon after the trade, he and his wife, Kay’La Lillard, who have three children together, initiated divorce proceedings.
“People say, ‘When I hoop I ain’t thinking about nothing,’ but I’m not 21. I got three kids. I’m tight with my family and I’m going through a divorce,” he told Yahoo Sports.
Can Damian Lillard Help the Bucks Secure a Strong Playoff Position?
Despite having only six games left in their schedule, the Milwaukee Bucks currently hold the second seed in the Eastern Conference. However, their recent 1-2 record can be attributed to the absence of Damian Lillard in their last three games.
Lillard’s initial absence was due to a personal issue, followed by two consecutive games missed due to a strained right groin.
Despite their initial victory against the Atlanta Hawks during their recent stretch without the star guard, the team experienced back-to-back defeats against non-playoff teams, namely the Washington Wizards and the Memphis Grizzlies.
Despite their status as one of the top teams in the league, a subpar showing in the final six games could result in a decline in the rankings. Milwaukee is set to take on the fourth most challenging schedule, which includes matchups against strong playoff contenders such as the Boston Celtics, OKC Thunder, Orlando Magic (twice), and New York Knicks.
In the East, the Cavaliers, Magic, and Knicks all have potential to overtake the Bucks if their downward trend persists.
