ASUS Launches the ROG Strix XG32UCWMG and XG32UCWG with 4K and FHD WOLED Capabilities
Renowned for its cutting-edge technology in the hardware space, ASUS has introduced two standout additions to their OLED monitor lineup. The ROG Strix XG32UCWMG and XG32UCWG claim the title of the world’s first 4K WOLED gaming displays equipped with high refresh rates. These models allow users to effortlessly switch between 4K and FHD resolutions with just a single tap, setting a new benchmark for versatility in gaming monitors.

Providing an elevated gaming experience, the ROG Strix XG32UCWMG stands out with impressive specifications. It boasts a staggering refresh rate of up to 240Hz at 4K resolution and an outstanding 480Hz at 1080p. This progressive capability ensures that gamers enjoy fluid visuals across different settings without sacrificing quality or competitive performance.

In contrast, the ROG Strix XG32UCWG provides a more budget-friendly option while still delivering the same impressive 31.5″screen size and WOLED panel technology. This model operates at a max refresh rate of 165Hz at 4K and supports up to 330Hz at FHD, affirming its suitability for both competitive and immersive gaming experiences. Notably, it also features exceptional color accuracy with a Delta E of less than 2, making it one of the pioneering WOLED monitors on the market.
Both monitors are designed to deliver HDR10 capabilities and true 10-bit color depth, ensuring stunning visual fidelity. Additionally, their aesthetics are almost identical, showcasing ultra-thin bezels and ergonomic stands that allow for customizable adjustments. Equipped with TrueBlack Glossy film, these models excel in maintaining rich blacks while minimizing glare, further enhancing visual clarity. Impressively, ASUS claims these monitors have a 45% smaller footprint than their predecessors, making them more desk-friendly while retaining essential ergonomic features.

Additional features worth noting include the DisplayWidget Center software, allowing users to customize display modes according to their preferences, and an Auto KVM feature for seamless switching between multiple devices using a single keyboard and mouse setup. On the connectivity front, both models come equipped with the latest HDMI 2.1 ports, although they continue to utilize DisplayPort version 1.4.
As for pricing details, ASUS has yet to disclose specific figures, but announcements regarding availability and cost are anticipated soon.
